I’m going to assume that whatever lives that most people live are good because they are the majority.
So when everyone is starving during the holodomor in ukraine, or during the famine in ethiopia… those lives are great because its how the majority is living?
Thats not how this works my brother.
For starters what is good for an individual is a personal, intimate and highly subjective matter that differs from person to person.
What is good for you, might make others puke.
Second: The majority is a herd. If you throw a stick for them they will gladly walk off of a cliff to get it. There is probably nothing more self destructive than the majority, because unlike an individual, the majority does not think. It does the opposite: Demands compliance.
How does the title fit the body?
Are you one of those introductory teachers that asks for questions from the students and then post them on a philosophy board?
So… different versus majority. Hm.
What if the majority are…shall we say…different?
The majority of people seem to have more than me they have things that I do not have.
