It is a fair assessment, especially when they quote (misinterpret) scripture to justify their greed and mistreatment of people. He was in league with Jesus when Jesus called the Pharisees &/or experts of the Mosaic law on twisting scripture for the sake of their tradition.

Why did you quote me as if I had written that? I’m not wrong about anything I actually said. Also, just because they have done something doesn’t mean they should have been able to, or that they were legally able to, or that they should not be held legally accountable. Who will hold them accountable? That needs to happen. A lot of the decisions Trump makes are too fast for courts to act, apparently. Or he just ignores what the courts say. How long is that going to be allowed to happen? Is it that way because past administrations allowed it to become that way? Can that be reversed? Sometimes “red tape” is a good thing. And laws are only as real as their ability to be enforced.
You might be mistaken about the facts. Something else is going on with Venezuela.

No the reason crime is rife is because humans are related to warlike chimpanzees. Bonobos and chimpanzees are closely related. Bonobos are violent, more violent than chimpanzees but less homicidal. Bonobos engage in martial arts fights, non-fatal fights, much more than chimpanzees, 3x more. You could say that Chimpanzees represent the Military industrial complex, white collar criminals, or blue collar gangs. Bonobos represent the other portion, street fighters, thugs etc.

Jesus’ forgiveness doesn’t mean we’re not held accountable for our stupid crap. In fact we’re held to a higher standard. Love. This is not a warm, fuzzy feeling. It is a very uncomfortable, regardless-how-you-feel … choice.
The world just breaks even… karma…reciprocation. We’re supposed to do stuff without expecting reciprocation of good stuff, and we’re supposed to forgive bad stuff rather than expecting to be made whole. We implode the karma cycle rather than recycling it. The gravity of that implosion attracts rational joy you can’t measure. It is a peace that does not depend on warm, fuzzy feelings. Even if the entire world fractured around you into a curvy kaleidoscope, you would stand in the midst of the wholeness eternally subsuming it.
But if you’re stuck on needing to feel empathy or sympathy or whatever word you put on the feeling, you’re just gonna baby everybody, including yourself, and no one is going to grow or mature or develop their qualities (ultimately that rational, immovable joy that is a choice, and not from a lack or on impulse… agape love).

Can you provide more information about holding centers inside Venezuela? It was my understanding that some are being detained in El Salvador because of crimes (not just illegal immigration) committed in the U.S.
I think there needs to be accountability for greed at all levels. I cannot blame any government that goes after those who traffic fentanyl. It is a killer.
However, I don’t think anyone should be getting away with racist deportations under the umbrella of fentanyl when there is no evidence of it. And I think if you’re going to deport people even though they were born here, then you should go after everyone who traffics fentanyl, even if their parents and their parents parents going back all the way to the Mayflower were born here.
And the greedy bastards who rake in profits while their “employees” are living in poverty are just as bad as those who traffic in fentanyl. Take away all their dirty money (seize the assets of these economic terrorists of interest) and give it to people who actually need it (their “employees”).

The situation is very similar to that concerning El Salvador, ICE is detaining people not even basing it on fentanyl tho. Theyre going after immigrants with tattoos alot and claim theyre gang members. There had been an painfully obvious incident shortly after ICE had been permitted to detain people, where a man with knuckle tattoos was framed for being a part of MS13 even tho his knuckle tattoos clearly showed something else. He was quickly deported and put in one of those “holding centres” where he was beaten by guards and inmates. As much as i know he did get out after 2 months or so because they couldnt actually frame him, however the damage had already been done and he went public with everything. Now the Trump administration has sadly noticed that its smarter to keep most things classified as showing that youre practically building concentration camps isnt the best reputation booster.
How do you know about this incident? Do you have evidence? Folks need to learn how to self-advocate. Document everything. Use social media to get the footage out. And just because you’re not in a particular gang doesn’t get you off the hook for being in a gang or committing crimes.
