In memory of the Nakba of 1948

To counterbalance the sadness at the atrocity of 6th October 2023, let us commemorate the catastrophe in which over 700,000 Palestinians were forcibly displaced from their homes.

Their villages and towns were destroyed, countless lives were lost, and people lost their property and their future. This historical injustice continues to affect the lives of millions of refugees and their descendants to this day.

May our memory of the expulsion and suffering endured by the Palestinian people serve as a reminder and an obligation. It is a reminder that such tragedies must never be forgotten or repeated. It is our obligation to work for justice, reconciliation and peace, based on respect for the rights of all people.

Together, let us amplify the voices of the victims and ensure that the collective suffering remains visible! Let us strive for a future in which no one suffers as a result of displacement, violence or repression.

Nice, but unnecessary. Israel has just destroyed an entire city and its inhabitants because a couple hundred gen z new age gypsy hippies were killed in a rave, and a few hostages were taken. You don’t even need to bring up 1948.

Anyway, i like the theory that Bibi and Don paid Hamas to attack the rave so he’d have a pretext to invade gaza. The Hamas guys get their money and disappear into neighboring muslim states, and Bibi and Don get their territory. Bada bing bada boom.

Lol, imagine jewish parents of the dead rave kids finding this out. It’d be like a jewish version of a Jerry Springer show. Throwing chairs at each other and everything.

What about all the forced conversions and killing Arabs did throughout all of North Africa and Western Asia?

What about all the slavery they did?

I have no sympathy for those Muslims or Jews both of them are bad people.

Neither of those people want peace. If they did, there would’ve been peace.

Like I said a while ago on another social media platform, Imagine if the Muslims and Jews were replaced with Buddhists and Taoists,

Would it look the same? Would there be fighting?

No.

That tells you about their real nature, the Semitic peoples and their religions. They’ll fight it out - they always have always will.

They like war. They want war. They always want to live in a state of war. That’s their life. They get an adrenaline rush from it.

That’s why no peace agreement ever is futile - THEY DO NOT WANT PEACE! They make sure that the levant is never peaceful, chaos and narcissism is what they stand for.

SO YOU SHOULD FORGET ABOUT PEACE EVER BEING THERE. IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN.

WARS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THERE FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS IT IS THE EPICENTRE OF THE RELIGIONS OF WAR.

Don’t act so surprised!

The Israeli Jews need to pay financial genocide reparations to Palestinians everywhere, American Jews and others also for their complicity involved.

All World War II financial reparations from Germany likewise should be halted to Israel.

United States financial assistance to Israel canceled as well.

I agree Bob. Remembering the Nakba is not just about looking back, it’s about refusing to let those lives and stories be erased. When people are forced from their homes, it’s not only land that is lost, but dignity and future. To keep memory alive is to say: this suffering matters, and it must not be repeated. True peace can only grow where justice and recognition are not denied.

You sound like a Zionist.

I’m not Jewish, Christian, nor Muslim.

So obviously I’m not a Zionist.

I hate all those people over there.

So there’s nothing to gain from there.

Bloody people.

Ladies and gentlemen…the solution!

Nobody has a right to self-defense. Lay down and take it — because if you don’t — everyone’s gonna frame you as a colonizer. The bullies are great gaslighters. That’s why everything is so peaceful all the time.

This guy dragging this female is now dead:

If he represents all Palestinians and it isn’t racist AF to say that… if all Palestinians get behind him… what choice have they made for themselves? NOT to be held accountable?

Stop letting Iran & its proxies harm people, including the Palestinians, so things may return to this:
https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/fear-stalks-streets-israeli-city-where-jews-arabs-mixed-freely-2021-05-13/

You really get mixed up occasionally. Where was the Palestinian right to self-defense in the Nakba? What would any people do if their lands, their homes, and their welfare were taken from them, and they were herded into an area in which they continually faced hardships?

You can list the enemies of Israel as Hamas, Hezbollah, or whatever organisation you like, but you will find that they all arose after attacks by Israel. The original refugees from Europe were taken into the homes of Palestinians, but suddenly those homes were taken away.

I am against many of the attempts of the Palestinians to react, but I can understand it happening. Imagine wanting to reduce the number of radicalised young men by killing their family members, women and children included. Do you think they can forget that? Imagine being treated not like second-class citizens, but like animals without any rights. Do you expect them to shrug and bear it?

The whole garbage about Israel wanting peace is summed up in what the prime Minister of Barbados said, “You create a desert and you call it peace!”

That was obvious snark on my part, Bob.

But.

Can you read the rest of my post and answer how the guy dragging the girl was defending himself?

You want me to go back to 1948 when it goes back much farther than that. Let’s start here.

Of course I can’t, but imagine driving a young man to such extremes by killing his family, subjecting him to internment and expecting him to come out as a pacifist. There are people in our society whose trauma drives them to do terrible things, and these young men witness far worse atrocities all the time.

That guy, and all of those behind him that wanna talk about 1948, is dragging that female around because he grew up in a swamp that encouraged it. Real men don’t do that. Not even when they’re pissed at the top of their freaking limits. Real men deal with the source, which is not that female. And certainly not 1948.

When you’re dealing with supposed men who don’t understand what real men are supposed to do, you can’t fight fair. They don’t. And they are too old to re-educate in the heat of what they are doing. That guy is dead, so he’s definitely beyond reeducation.

So what’s your excuse, Bob? Just brainwashed by the swamp? Comfortable wallowing in it? Don’t get comfortable.

All of these people are narcissists and like war, Ichthus77. All of them are guilty.

No one is innocent here. The Semitic people created and adopted those religions - they bear the brunt of their own religious teachings. That’s the only thing that’s going on here.

Does your world view — whether you adopted it or created it — allow for self-defense?

If you answer, yes, does that mean you - as a result of your adopted/created world view - love war?

So the self-defense excuse never ends?

Everyone over there is self-defending themselves while we heathens and pagans in India, China, Mongolia, Taoists, Buddhists, Hindus, Wiccans, agnostics, atheists, Odinists, Druids, Voudou rarely war, but we watch those idiots always fight “in self-defense”.

Okay.

The thing is … that you’re totally making that up. …and it isn’t up to me to do your history homework. Defend yourself honestly or stay (or be made) silent. I’m muting this thread because I do not have high hopes you will do that. See my last replies.

Blocking people because you disagree with them is a weakling’s way out and also a forfeit. I don’t even do Silenus like that or any one for that matter.

You probably won’t see this because you’ve put the thread on mute, but I’ll answer anyway.

It is worrying that the American style of Christianity seems obsessed and unable or unwilling to see what I said:

You can’t treat people abominably for so long and expect them to behave civilly. Palestinians have employed both violent and nonviolent resistance against Israeli military and civilian control since 1967. Nonviolent forms include strikes, protests, erecting alternative institutions, and steadfast daily life despite harsh repression. These actions were valid responses to occupation and impossible political pressure. When frustration grows, the responses become violent.

The Palestinian response to occupation shares many similarities with the anti-apartheid struggle in South Africa, especially in terms of resisting systemic racial or ethnic oppression and colonial domination. Both struggles arose under policies that enforced racial or ethnic segregation, dispossession, and systemic inequality. Apartheid in South Africa officially institutionalised racial segregation and denial of rights to Black South Africans, while Palestinians face occupation with military control, land confiscation, and denial of political rights.

Some actions by Black South Africans under apartheid were also violent, especially as the movement evolved in response to brutal state repression. Peaceful protests were met with harsh repression, including mass arrests and killings, such as the Sharpeville Massacre in 1960, where police killed 69 protestors. The African National Congress (ANC) and Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) formed armed wings, uMkhonto we Sizwe (MK) and Poqo, respectively, to carry out acts of sabotage and guerrilla warfare against the apartheid regime.

In South Africa, too, the turn to violence was not a first choice but emerged as a response to the impossibility of achieving change through peaceful means under an entrenched apartheid regime that violently suppressed dissent. Fortunately, violence was only one part of a broader spectrum of resistance and international pressure, economic sanctions, and sustained mass protests made a difference.

There has not been the same support for Palestine.

Just think about what these Jew Zionists have done to the Palestinians.
Just consider the shameless entitlement.
