Infinite Cool

This is a first for me to be posting a large quote of someone else, given my lust for polishing my own self-indulgent prose until it glitters like a pot at the end of a rainbow visible only to me, equal parts fools’ gold and grade A fort knox. Maybe more fools’ gold. Which is fine since there are more fools.

I found this commencement speech by DFW to be actual gold, and I liked how deceptively philosophical it is, how it manages to outline what I consider to be the major problems of daily existence, but in a riveting, deceptively literary, but more importantly, accessible fashion. While reading I kept thinking of you, and wishing I’d written it, so enjoy and let us know your thoughts/issues with it.
