I’m not avoid it, I hadn’t considered it. Do you have a source? My first thought is that laborers who compete with immigrants would tend to be less able to move up in relative rank, but that that their material wealth increases faster than in the counterfactual where there is no immigration.
But again, the solution is not to punish immigrants, whose wealth and economic mobility also matter, it’s to tax the additional wealth added to the economy and redistribute it to those poor people.
This belief is based on the fallacy that immigrants are a net drain on society, and that isn’t true. They are net contributors to societal wealth.
Nor does immigration have anything to do with taking care of the poor. If social programs for the poor are underfunded, we could increase funding for them by taxing the wealthy. US per capita GDP has more than doubled in the past 20 years, we can afford it.

Foreign labor increases the profits of corporate entities like shareholders, CEOS, and such, sure, you could make that argument. Take Tyson Foods for instance, they faced a lot of budget cuts and decided to cut their labor force in half. Afterwards they decided to cater to a foreign workforce in the meat industry because why pay a local domestic worker $25.00 an hour when you can hire a foreign worker for $16.00
So, yeah, foreign workers are great for corporations and capitalists, but terrible for the local domestic worker.
I shouldn’t have to remind you that the stock market and general economy are not the same thing, but you’re a capitalistic neoliberal, what do you care? According to people like you it’s all the same thing.
Also, I would say about half of the foreign workers here send a lot of that money back to their families overseas, so not of all of those dollars are spent inside the nation domestically but instead are spent elsewhere in the world. A lot of times they’ll save up money here, move back to Mexico or wherever buying up apartments, ranches, and hotels in their native homeland. Again, the money is not spent here domestically.
Also, if you want an economic, financial, and labor market debate the next step is, who pays more taxes, the citizen or illegal migrant? Care to take a guess?

While I support racial and ethnic cultural identity of white Europeans I will never ever embrace racial eugenic ideology that somehow one race or ethnicity is superior over the other. It’s not something I believe in or advocate for at all.
I myself am a white man of European stock and what I witness is that western civilization is in serious decline because of cancerous greed along with our addiction to general consumption. This cancerous greed is so bad concerning our collective racial compulsion towards hedonistic materialism that we have the need to import foreign workers by the millions every single year just to feed that addictive compulsion. That compulsion makes us very weak, not stronger, and having this collective psychological disease in no way makes us superior racially over others whatsoever. A so called superior race or ethnicity wouldn’t act in such a way, that right there would tell you that line of thinking is all purely bullshit.
Likewise I think it is possible to live with in cooperation with other races and ethnicities since there’s so many of them in the west already through no fault of our own, but that also different racial or ethnic independent locales, neighborhoods, and regions isn’t necessarily such a bad thing. Different independent ethnic and racial neighborhoods are a good thing in respecting diversity of one another. We can all have our different established independent ethnic neighborhoods, regions, and enclaves but still work together in cooperation for our nation concerning common goals. Common goals that all different races and ethnicities share in common that would incentivize us to work together.
To do that however we need to root out all racial or ethnic divisions wherever they come from to where all people are respected equally including white European Americans. But to have that this means no exclusion of anybody, and I seriously mean anyone. This is why I am against neoliberalism so much because it is the root of so many antagonisms whether it be racial, sexual, economic class, education, or occupation. For me there can be no progressive socialist society, nation, or economy so long as it exists [neoliberalism] as a divisive antagonizer. Likewise I feel the same about neoconservatism with its gravitation towards economic capitalism, it too needs to be rooted out.
Also, I believe in a socialist purely national communist economy where foreign mass migration or immigration is completely unnecessary where it should be heavily regulated drawn to a halt. Foreign immigration in small numbers is fine but nothing like the unlimited kind we have today at present time. In a socialist economic system the worker receives adequate wages to live good and well, there’s no need of constant endless surplus labor, where instead you have a newly revitalized domestic workforce native overtime to the nation it exists in. All of that for me would be ideal.
For me this is the best possible future world I believe in, it is either something like that, or it will unfortunately be some kind of extremely violent future fascist state of constant total racial or ethnic civil war through balkanization. I hope we can avoid such a terrible future state, we’ll see overtime. The future promises nothing to anyone.

With what denominator? Immigrants earn less than natives, so even if they were taxed at a constant percent they would pay less per capita.
At the same level of earning, though, I believe they pay the same taxes, and they definitely use much less in services. Here’s a report from 2023 making the case that on net immigrants contribute more than natives (caveat: Cato).
Rural/redstate/working class whites (as a generalization on southern whites) are to the left as black and brown immigrants are to the right, in the sense that both are race+class+culture scapegoats, and they serve to distract parts of the left/right that have a lot more interests in common with those groups, in particular economic interests. Instead, they focus their efforts on ensuring that those scapegoats are punished, preventing the formation of a significant coalition that could be powerful enough to actually get economic changes that would benefit them.
It’s not about whether there’s enough labor, it’s that more labor is expected to reduce the price of labor (i.e. cut wages).

My point is that Obama and Tiger woods are both mixed race, but they’re assigned a singular race. Genetically, Obama is no more black than he is white; socially, he’s black, “obviously”. Because race isn’t about ancestry, it’s about various implicit social rules and assumptions, like that ‘one drop’ of African blood contaminates someone and makes them black. Keanu is white because native Hawaiian is an uncommon enough ancestry that it gets ignored; we just see a white guy because native Hawaiian isn’t a racial category.
The race we perceive depends on a lot of things that aren’t ancestry or aesthetics.
