I feel for kids in this current modern era.. a few decades ago and ‘all was well’, and now.. now, children can’t even be children anymore.. the innocence of youth, being all but fleeting.
Modernity meant that children did not have to grow up so fast, and now they are being dragged back to an era when children had to grow up fast.. but they don’t have to, for it is not their innate calling but that of their parents’ and their society at large.
