of people leaving the job market and people entering
the job market, that is roughly, 127,000 people a month…
which means that to increase the job market, it must have
over 127,000 new jobs… more is an expanding job market,
and less is a decreasing job market… the August job market
report came out this morning and it was a disaster…
just 54,000 jobs… that boys and girls, is what a recession
looks like… falling job market, rising prices, less inventory due
to supply chain issues… this isn’t good by any measurement…
Now the problem with a recession is that we can’t actually tell
if we are in a recession… it’s not until later that we discover
we were or were not in a recession… my guess is that we
have been in a recession since July… but we won’t know
that until maybe October or even November…
