I don’t really care for emoticons.

I guess I’m an abbreviations/mad scientist person. I think I prefer “heh” and “hehehe” to “lol”, though.

same, although when people type ‘heh’ i always get the (perhaps wrong) impression they’re making an effort to laugh.

lol only for when i’m actually laughing out loud, though. keep it to the roots.

But when I really did laugh out loud, which isn’t often at all, I tell people in full words that I did.
