A thought just occurred to me: Since no one will ever no what happens after death, there is no point in worrying about it or trying to figure it out. I would love to believe that I will go to Heaven or will be reborn in some other form but these religions are just as clueless as everybody else. You will find out what happens when you die. So live life, enjoy it, and don’t waste your time on things you will never figure out.
exactly what i think; there is no way to objectively prove gods existance so this is the mystery behind any faith.
why worry about a theory you can never prove right or wrong? Its a waste of time. Beyond Good & Evil is a prelude to philosophy without a need for proving Gods existance. We know that we are the basis for all of our own morality so why fret?
Who here really wants to live forever ? and if yes, can you say you fully comprehend that notion?
I promise you even the most lifeful human being in history would have eventually, knowing that it can posses eternal life, liked to simply cease to exist.
There is no such thing as an eternal conciousness and if there is i cannot help but feel pity for it.
That is an oversimplification, and mind you, by doing this you also fall into the same category as those people who give their own hypothesis about life and after-life. People never have and never will stop hypothising about afterlife and rebirth just like you did. But yeah, if it makes you feel good, then OK. Cheers! But only rarely you will find others not interfering or criticising your way of living. But cheers to your good spirit again!
you are funny, what you just say shows your early age with bless of no pain, sometimes man God force you to think your death man, what a waste of time ya when you have nothing else to do, tell me about
This post would have fit nicely at the bottom of "life after death " http://www.ilovephilosophy.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=149270 posted April 14 2006. Isn’t that just like life though. The wheel goes round and round and round. Too bad it isn’t touching the ground. We might get somewhere. Iman left the same unintelligible comments there. Not even that has changed.
and it call itself philosopher when the truth jump out of the words to bound with your depth, had you ever been sick or desperatly feeling alone or desperatly seeing death or desperatly see the truth of pain to live?? hein
life on the lower truth creation is compassion fuel giving and receiving to the painful condition pretending being a man, life on the highest reality is feeling of true love
Alright well whenever you want to answer my orignial question get back to me. Babbling on and on about nonsense doesn’t make you any more philosophical than me or anyone else on this message board. Please try to write in clear coherent sentences. If I could understand would your trying to say, I would love to have a discussion.
