Lil Hustler-by Rain Weight (aka soliloquy)
Don’t mess with me, I’ll drag you down to my level
I’ll break your face and lay you askance like a petulant rebel
I’m a devil, don’t touch it, you can’t as I push and demand,
Clawing and crawling as I unyieldingly force your hand
I crave a challenge and refuse to be denied after tempted
Once baited twice irritated and thrice murder invented
It’s plain unheard of to fight with and even thought of to defeat me
Wondering, wishing to be as elite as he who created me
The truth remains shrouded in black hoods and quietly pocketed goods
Out of sight out of mind they said, you should have damn understood
At this rate you’ll find your face unknown and lost in a gutter,
Grinded up in the streets to become john in a cop’s camera shutter
You can’t keep pace with the wars and the battles impending
You lack the strength to attempt and the resolve to keep on ascending
The vision you’re holding I’m grasping, shaking and breaking down,
Your pitiful ideas of the grandiose to be shamed and unbound
I protect my own and work hard to create my plans of attack,
Expecting the same strength and competence to be at my back
There’s nothing truer, nothing rougher than my men, bare knuckled boxers
Smashing your willpower, iron eyes that keep vigil for any imposter
Best go home my lil hustler, this cruel world ain’t your game,
Men constantly fighting and trippin, blood falling out bodies like rain
Best go home my lil hustler, this cruel world ain’t your game
Till the gunfire quiets and all that’s left are red stains
