If you are talking about the proposed congressional investigation - just look what happened the last time they assigned a special investigation committee - years and millions - and found nothing. The socialists want an investigation purely for political show - to keep the issue going on through the next election. They can’t find out any more than the DOJ already knows. They won’t tell the public anything that doesn’t sound bad for Mr Trump or the republicans. And they will probably - very probably - lie about what they found anyway - just as they did for years concerning their Russia Collusion Hoax.
Would you want such extreme liars holding close-door investigations of you? They would only reveal to the public something that made you look guilty - even if they had to lie in order to come up with it.

Most people - especially non-Americans - only see the superficially highly propagandized news headlines put out by global socialists - MSM. So of course you see images that make Mr Trump (a nationalist) look bad. And you don’t bother to find out how much you are being suckered with such headlines. On the other hand - I DO look to see how much someone is suckering me with partial truths and blatant lies. That UFO video is an example. It is a very obvious simulation video. But people don’t investigate those things - they assume that MSM would never lie to that degree - a very very dangerous and false assumption.
What you see in your headlines and on tele is politics - not news - propaganda - not truth.

The fact that he denied access to his staff was not the fake news. What you did NOT see is the fake news.
What Mr Trump (and others) was seeing is that the socialists were playing every imaginable dirty and underhanded trick and manipulation to promote the idea that Mr Trump was guilty of something worth impeaching him for (which is why he keep his tax information classified from them).
They (the socialist advocates, pundits, and stooges) had already provably lied and accused him of their own guilt (such as their actual collusion with Russia while accusing Mr Trump of it - exactly as Marxism recommends). Adam Schiff lied to the cameras time and time again that he had confidential “evidence in plan sight” of Mr Trumps guilt. He stated that for years. Eventually it was proven that he never had any evidence at all - he just lied - a political scammer. The Ukraine hoax was similar - the totally secret - anonymous - protected “whistleblower” turn out to be completely lying. Their “evidence” is always - always hidden from exposure - never openly investigated until after judgement - then too late.
So Mr Trump rightly knew that by calling his staff to congress they would be trying to find the tiniest thing to either claim that the staffer has “lied before congress” (a perjury trap) and get them jailed for life - or that Mr Trump has lied or done something that they would falsely exaggerate into an impeachable offense - and the media would help them to any extreme.
There was certain proof that he was being attacked by people who had absolutely no ethics or morality and willing to do absolutely anything (eventually murdering millions of people) just to get him out of “their” office. It really was (and still is) truly “The Devil vs Donald Trump”.
You or I would not have been able to stand up to that - almost no one can. He was well justified in saying - “No. I am not going to simply give you more fuel for your persecution”. It took him a while (too long in my opinion) to come to that point - even he couldn’t believe that congress, the FBI, and the CIA were that corrupt. And worse - he found that they couldn’t merely be fired despite anything they do (which is why he couldn’t get the swamp cleaned up - they have life guarantees of government employment - socialism).
As I said - the only “news” you hear is whatever makes Mr Trump look bad - the part that justifies what he was doing - you never hear about - not from MSM anyway. The same would happen to you.

What doesn’t occur to people like you is that you start off hating something because someone/something has deceived you. You don’t personally know any of those people you hate (nor fully understand any economic policy). You are mediated into your opinions.
Then you, having been deceived - willingly carry the water for those deceiving you. And why did they deceive you? - for the exact same reason you suggest - “because we want this - we welcome any and all deceit that favors our wishes”.
After much of that we end up with massive lying - not being able to trust anyone for anything. And that includes - especially includes - You.
When I first signup here - I asked - “Why do you want to be lied to” as a thread topic. You have just answered that question - “because I hate something and see no problem with everyone lying to everyone in order to attack what I hate”. And of course that means they are - and have been for your entire life - lying to you. You approved the behavior and you are “reaping what you (and those before you) sowed”.
Trying to show you that evidence would be like a mathematician showing you why pi is an irrational number. Not being a mathematician - you “wouldn’t see the evidence” - especially if you didn’t want to believe it. But since you know that you do not know maths, you ignore the issue and perhaps accept his word. And not being an unbiased analyst - you again “would not see the evidence” concerning the media. The difference is that you do not realize that you cannot think in an unbiased manner - or that anyone else can. You are not an atheist to maths, but you are an atheist to unbiased analysis. So for you there will never be “evidence” - for very many things that are provable facts. I can’t show you what you cannot/willnot see.
I don’t expect you to just believe me - any more than I would you. So we have to just ignore each other.
