hmmm so i was reading a another thread on this forum (which shall remain unnamed because it not necessarily useful)
i was thinking… what is meaning? are there some words that have ‘more’ meaning than others?
for instance… some great people sat down over centuries and wrote the bible. perhaps these words have ‘more’ meaning than those of a common man. or perhaps nietzche’s words have more meaning… or perhaps someone who pays careful attention to his words have ‘more’ meaning… or perhaps someone whose words just seem to carry a lot of weight
i can read a sentence and internalize it some way that might be profound or not
perhaps billions of people can read one sentence and internalize in the same profound way
or perhaps billions of people can read one sentence and internalize it in a billion profound ways
or perhaps i can talk about the fact that i just took a shit and it took me 34 pieces of toilet paper before i was done wiping
maybe that’s no so profound
or maybe its more profound than you or i want to give it credit for
okay enough on this idea
