The purpose of the brain/mind is to insure homeostasis of all body parts including itself. When something of the body is amiss, brain/mind creates a conscious scenario of the event, It dips into the subconscious for explanatory images.
Theresa, the saint, tortured her body in search of spiritual truths, exhumed from the depths of consciousness. Many have found spiritual hints in the netherlands of mind.
There must be correlations between the evolved body and its seeming parallel, the mind’s self realized conscious state, so as to avert that duplicity to become an exact, identifiable object of creation.
Namely, if we hold to evolutionary principles from the get go, then the object of evolving from animals is intrinsic with the dog eat dog principle. Then if the parallelism to hold true is sustained with in the scope of the self-self consciessness-other minds triad, then the same could be said of the brain.
Its purpose similarly exhibits the solution of aHegelism eventually consuming its material counterpart of Marxism.
Is this why Kant freaked when allowing for a super-sensible intervention?
Suspect as such not merely being the fixed ideation of holding on to convention.
Nervous system, with the brain as its processing hub, is where mind/body synthesize: external & internal data merging and converted to sensations, feelings, or abstractions, ideal, ideals…noumena.
Two data sources; two distinct memory sources, i.e., DNA and experiential.

Allodynia [‘Prince(ss) and the Pea’ syndrome] is a neurological condition in which the sensation of pain—often severe—is caused when the body perceives pain to otherwise harmless physical (tactile) stimuli and surfaces.
With allodynia, the lightest touch -like from brushing your hair, pulling bed covers over you, or lying on a crumpled bed-sheet- can feel excruciatingly painful.
…allodynia has no obvious biological utility.
When the neurological<—>sensation pathways, go wrong.^
Vortices
Self is like a whirlpool in a flowing river; a tornado gathering speed from the earth’s heat. It comes about from the conflicting interactions of water/air currents, holding true, for a while, before it surrenders to the incessant cosmic flow.
It has no centre because its edges are constantly fluctuating, and as one moves away from the edges, towards the rushing middle, one tumbles into an unexpected void, disappearing back into the deep.
Consciousness is this edge, this fluctuating rim, interacting with cosmic flows;
Self-Consciousness is this approach towards the middle, which gradually falls into stillness. Know Thyself is diving into the vortex.
Number one… horse stance training strengthens the lower body
Number two… enhances endurance and mental toughness
Number three… improves balance and stability
Number four… promotes flexibility by forcing your body to adapt to a deep squat position over time
Number five… improved mental focus and discipline due to the unwavering concentration required
Number six… the meditative aspect allows you to let go of Stress and Anxiety and so calming the mind
Number seven… it is a highly versatile exercise that can be done virtually anywhere and at any time, and there are also some exercises you can do while sitting in the horse stance to strengthen your grip which will also help keep your mind from focusing exclusively on the pain in your thighs
Acupuncture…puzzling, when the places where the needles were placed start hurting or are sore days later, but all your symptoms start subsiding… and continue to subside after each and every treatment.
__ Body Gua Sha… helps increase circulation, hydrate fascia, drain the lymphatics, loosen muscle knots, release tightness, create symmetry, and more.
My weapons of choice! These relieve pain and tension, in seconds - one would think that wood would hurt, but it’s the opposite… it soothes and glides over the areas being scraped… maybe because it’s an organic compound, but that was still surprising to find out none-the-less.
Have you read “The Gift” by Lewis Hyde, How the creative spirit transforms the world?
It has a praising introduction by Margaret Atwood:
“Gifts pass from hand to hand; they endure through such transmission, as every time a gift is given it is enlivened and regenerated through the new spiritial life it engenders both in the giver and in the receiver.”
What you did in December of 2013 was that kind of thing.
That all belongs to a long past era of my life. I enjoyed it at the time, but I think that now is the time for staying in motion, not giving in to arthritis, and remember that each phase of life has its focus.
Can’t say I’m about to throw myself on the ground anytime soon, either.
…but even when doing ‘sun salutations’ or any yoga One is always synthesising body with mind, until each separate movement starts to flow into one ‘endless movement’ of flux.
