In a week or so, we will have an election in California…
the recall of Gavin Newsom… this is another attempt to steal
an election by the right… to recall Newsom is costing the state over
$250 million dollars… now the sad part is this, to get elected, Newsom
had to garner over 50% of the vote in the last election, but because of the rules in
recall elections, if Newsom loses, not very likely, but if he loses, the leading contender,
a clown by the name of Larry Elder, who has been accused of both sexual harassment and
sexual assault, could become the Governor of California, a population of
40 million people with 22 million registered voters by being the highest vote
getter in the field with ONLY 4 Million VOTES…Roughly 20% of the vote could
make Elder Governor… how does that make any sense at all that 20% of
the vote, register voters, make him Governor?
if we live in a majority rule government, then Elder must have at least
50% of the voters in the recall to win otherwise a very small number of voters
can vote a person into office… in this case, roughly 4.4 million voters
can vote him in…a state with 40 million people fates decided by 4 million voters…
roughly 20% of the voters…
I believe that the rules should be changed to make this fair…
keep the number of voters who need to recall at 50%, I have no problem
with that, but to win, a person must have at least 50% of the voters to
win an election…otherwise, the current governor stays…
