The local ‘‘No Kings’’ demonstration was suppose to begin
at 1:00… I was there at 11:45 and there was already a crowd…
a very friendly crowd with lots of signs… it was an
mostly older crowd… I fit right in… equal men and women,
not a lot of minorities, but some… I would say by
12:30 there was already a thousand people there
and by 1:30, perhaps 3 to 4, maybe even 5 thousand
people… lined the main drag in San Mateo, El Camino Real…
for roughly two very long blocks… it was right in front
of the local mall… there was only one jerk…
He was driving a jeep and was swearing and giving
the middle finger to the crowd… most people just
laughed at him… I enjoyed myself… a very nice day
around here… 71 degrees… all in all, it was a good experience…
I saw pictures of the village idiot and man, did he look
unhappy… Melania was equally unhappy… that made
my day right there…
