Someone that would hold the antithesis would generally claim that consciousness is an epiphenomena and that the mind has no causal powers.

And they would have to deny the definitive and causal mechanism of mind-matter interactions;

Mind (scalar temporal energy; tachyons) and Matter (vector spatial energy; bradyons) are dually related harmonic convergents of each other. i.e. The destructive interference of vector potentials creates a scalar wave, and the destructive interference of scalar waves creates a vector potential.

Scalar energy is a necessity from Hamilton’s electromagnetic questions. And Whittaker has proven that scalar energy is created by the destructive interference of vector potentials (and visa versa). So, if you accept my definition of “mind” psychic functioning is a logical and empirical necessity.

If one grants psychic functioning and the mind-matter mechanism there is no philosophic space for consciousness not being fundamental (reductio ad absurdum).

This amounts to a proof from induction (science) but I would like to make the proof clear from the deduction (reason) of the tautologies.

I know the answer is in “self-causation”. I could simply define consciousness as self-causation (endomorphic causality). It would satisfy all the philosophic requirements of consciousness and provide the testable frame work for verifying where consciousness is formally manifest.

The answer on how to say this correctly is probably expounded on in Christopher Langan’s work;

But how to translate the work of a 195 IQ into something the “average” person can understand is the challenge.

I am sure the phrase “Consciousness is a form of self-causation.” should be reconsidered as it suggests there are other forms of self-causation that are not an example of consciousness. If it is merely stated that consciousness is self-causation it does follow that consciousness is a fundamental property of reality, and is the cause of the creation of all things because reality is inherently self-causal as already proven from the deduction.

He doesn’t know what he’s talking about Wonderer. He can’t back up why he thinks the mind is of ‘tachyons’ and matter is of ‘bradyons’. Not to mention tachyons either don’t exist or if they do are extremely unstable, and that we wouldn’t be able to ‘communicate’ with them if they did exist. He’s bogus.

i agree that you can define conciousness as simply a part of causation. (self causation as you describe it) but that still does not mean that the “mono-pantheistic god” is concious, or that conciousness is “a fundemental part of reality”

if we are all a part of causation then conciousness is merely a by-product from any poit of view you take.

merely the word omnicient is enough to merit a relation between anything you can describe as all powerful and the christian god.

you can also say that allah is that god… which casts doubt upon the certaintly of the deductions based on the “evidence” you pointed out from the bible…

when i was ten i imagined that people were all biological robots… things like the stars being uncountable or the oceans being connected were seemingly innate or self evident..

even if conciousness were all a part of causation, things like knowing you are being stared at, telephone telepathy, or mas psychic control would be a part of causation too, we simply just do not understand the phenomena in question
