Oh, yes, I saw you mention earlier that noone under the age of thrity has heard of Bruce Springsteen, even if that were true, how does that necessarily mean that a Bruce Springsteen album would not appeal to all of the aforementioned people? I’m sure there is music out there that would appeal to me from artists I have not yet heard of.
Thanks, I’ve gotten the idea that, “wasn’t too bad,” is about the best I am going to do on this topic, but you did give me props on my football knowledge (I am going to reply to you in detail on that topic later tonight) so I have to admit you try to be fair in your assessments.
Here is my question:
“Oh, yes, I saw you mention earlier that noone under the age of thrity has heard of Bruce Springsteen, even if that were true, how does that necessarily mean that a Bruce Springsteen album would not appeal to all of the aforementioned people? Bruce wont work because his music isnt accessable enough for teenagers or soccor mom. He’s influenced by folk and singer/songwriter stuff too much. He also tends to be pretty dark for the average music fan. Im not saying he isnt awesome but I dont think any of his material would be suitable for a road trip in the aformentioned hypothetical. It isnt that “people havent heard of him” that disqualifies his stuff though.
I honestly cant think of a single “group” of people that doesnt like this song at least a little bit…youtube.com/watch?v=4u2GpQzEu3Y
