Newton: Very Cautious

Many people think that Newton wrote the second law as:

F=ma

Classical physics uses it like this all the time, and indeed so did Netwon, however, he derived it like this:

F = d(mv)/dt

It probably didn’t make sense to him that mass could change, but nonetheless he didn’t pull the mass out of the parentheses until he started deriving other equations. It took Einstein to figure out why the mass belonged in the parentheses.

Newton is right, however, until we start talking about extremes.

mv = momentum.

force is the change in momentum with respect to time.

F=dp/dt

^^ Quite.

but the idiot did not know what mass is
ie a quantity of matter
and know one not even einstien knows what matter is

so you science is based on myths -like dean says
thus
mass is just a fiction and ad hoc fudge in the equation

Your face is just a fiction and ad hoc fudge in the equation.

fact is no one knows what matter is
so all your physics is based on a great ad hoc fudge fiction

Perhaps.

This does not follow the previous statement. Nice try.

any physics idea or equation that uses mass -is a myth
the whole of relativity is thus a myth
let alone quantum mechanics

You’re just wrong. I don’t know how much more plain I can be. Go write some ‘poetry’, Mr. Dean.
