There are many reasons why people join the armed forces. However, once you’re in, you do as you’re fucking told soldier! Obey orders, don’t question your supreme commander. “How high” and “Jump” etc. Do as you’re told or leave/desert.
Yet think, believe, and vote as you please.

I just saw a news item on the television.
Those photographs that I used above in my original post, as well as the associated article, may be a re-post of a U. S. Marine site that was hacked and had a number of those types of photographs hacked into it !
I wish I had a clearer understanding but right now…I don’t.
A Syrian backed group may have hacked into a Marine based web site to show that if the United States attacks Syria there would be more cyber chaos.[/size]

The United States military is a force of mercenaries. Some might disobey orders out of personal ideological or philosophical beliefs, but a majority will do what they are told because their income, retirement, families, and government supported college education depends on it.
If anybody is looking for a noble military coup d’etat in this country don’t hold your breath.
