Nothingness exists

I have a hard time believing nothing/nothingness is true and at the same time imagining it does Not exist…

As I see it there are two parts to this 1) the existence of nothingness and: 2) the nature of nothingness (one cannot exist without the other)

You have to nail down a definition of nothing/nothingness. I think the confusion is a result of equivocation.

Myself, I can’t imagine either. Presumably that’s because ‘nothingness’ is a nonsense concept.

Smears, I’ve already defined nothing/nothingness in other threads as ‘not something’… that covers ALL ‘something(s)’… however, I don’t believe that definition exists, no absolute void.

Depending on how you define null it can come to exist. For example, if you define null as its known meaning ‘no value’, it can be seen as something. But, we are no longer playing with nothing at the point of something existing. No value is something. Null (no value) is not nothing. it just describes a state where theres No value…
