If he’d still been on the ballot by the time the vote got to me, I would have voted for Mike Gravel. Crotchety old man and Socialist are an unbeatable combination.
It is not the president that is the problem it is who surrounds the person aftwards. The president is just a figurehead and a fallguy when things go sour. Blame Bush all you want but, its the folks around Bush that pushes the real buttons. Bush like every other president just does what he is told to do.
