On the nature of drift's return

i’ve been active on x for quite a while and get shit for engagement where i go on posting ‘for myself’, never to be seen.
it’s a big beef i have with x, a reason i’ll never pay them for verification.

already ilp has given over 10x the response of x.

on x i have about 200 followers, none of which ever responds 2 my posts. how many are bots is a mystery but some are verified(paying x),about 10.

Referring to yourself in third person is weird. You fit right in here.

hmmm, not sure i did that.

You spoke/wrote (and generally are speaking) in the third person when you put your name in a sentence like this, “On the nature of DRIFT’s return“ (the title of this thread) instead of putting the appropriate pronoun in a sentence like this, “On the nature of MY return“ (that would be first person—a lot less weird). A lot of weirdos do it. It’s OK. We’re all weirdos to varying degrees. Keeps things interesting.

Who has two thumbs and is weird? I think I speak for all of us when I say “this guy”.

Imagine using “x”, or any other popular “social media”. Smh

oh, right the title.

Yes, we all think you’re weird, she-guy.

Yes. Because sticking it in the title doesn’t make it less weird. Especially if the thread is actually about X.

i made an anonymous twitter account years back and started tweeting on it and i think i have almost 60k followers. i wont pay for it either but i do say a lot of crazy shit so i get a pretty good amount of engagement. if the verification $ was any good i’d go for it but i don’t think what they pay amounts to much.
