Pascal's Wager really is a great argument

Atheism? Theism? So what.

Mere religion is of no use to anyone. Many believe in God and believe that their own good works will be enough but they won’t..Only perfection can deal with imperfection.

A lifeless binary processing biological machines computes that it believes and doesn’t believe in God.Its binary software covers all the options.

I believe/I believe
I believe/I don’t believe
I don’t believe/I believe
I don’t believe/I don’t believe

Belief and Unbelief is binary.

There is no life in binary software.

Mere Belief and Unbelief do not reveal the true nature of an individual.

Even the devil and his demons believe in God.

Yeah Pascal’s Wager is a really great argument if:

  1. God is too stupid to know he is being played.
  2. You are willing to throw away your freedom and hence throw away your life on a set of confused and contradictory moral laws.

Where is “an eternity of bliss” promised? And what would that REALLY be like. Sounds boring.

The thing about haveing an omniscient god is that everything is preordained in his mind.
Ephesians 1:4-5 (ESV)

“He chose us in him before the foundation of the world…”

*John 10:28 (ESV)

*“I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.”

God has to have KNOWN since the beginning of time who is going to die a sinner and who a saint, and in that knowledge he created them.
That is what Omniscience, omnipresence and omnipotence means, DUDES

How can God not know everything?

We don’t know the mind of God,therefore we shouldn’t be second guessing his wisdom believing that we are smarter than him especially when we know that we don’t know everything.

God can do what he wants. He can put a plan in place that is perfect which he is directly involved in if he wants.

Can god make a circle square?

Can a single big bang happen by magic?

Pacal’s wager is about the great making qualities. Which is kind of a weird way to put it because the greatest maximal being isn’t made great… but it is true that love is not love without demonstration…which he did do, and does.

Nothing beats knowing you are loved despite your crap by someone who is never surprised by your crap and has no ulterior motive because they get the point, and everything else is pointless by comparison.

I mean, if you reject that, what are you wanting instead? … because you just might get what you gamble on, and you’re def not gonna get what you don’t gamble on.

We can’t know what it would be like yet but it would be infinitely better than this life.

  1. God wants us in Heaven.

  2. 80 years of sacrifice would be worth eternal bliss.

I asked chat GPT which religion was best for Pascal’s Wager and this came up.

It’s adherents are jumping over the fence to gain entry to the party though.

Matthew 7:21

Everyone is invited to the party that treats self as other.

If you show up to that party not wearing the clothes of self equals other, you must be lost.

You’re like a wolf surrounded by shepherds and sheepdogs (like a tare that grew up with the wheat, and now there is no hiding it from the reapers).

Lost… but not a lost cause. Yet.

Two wrongs don’t make a right though.

Self and other aren’t perfect.

Only perfection can deal with imperfection so you need to enter the party by the correct route.

It’s not as if you haven’t been warned.

Perfection is mercy, which triumphs over judgment. So. What now.

You need to read what your bible ACTUALLY says rather than your interpretation of it.

What do you mean “magic”?
I’d say that positing “god” is a plea for magic.

WHy?
WHy would post neolithic, desert dwelling goat herders, newly literate, have a fucking clue about the origins of the universe?

but positing “nothing” … isn’t?

Like… which relevant verses do you think I’m misinterpreting?
