The tl;dr is that because of formal logic, you are right. It defines a conceptual requirement about real-world existence by describing a formal rule of sentence translation.
Or in short, it defines cause by describing the effect.
So if the source/basis of truth is elusive, a search ensues. Various aspects present themselves. So you buy into the market place of comforting wares with expectations of a grand experience of uniting with reality or some other lofty realization. But you don’t get results. So is it the search that keeps you from a real natural truth? Or is there a big fat Truth that is hidden and gets revealed on its own terms?

Real Def: The real existential fallacy is either 1 of 2 errors: 1) presupposing non-emptiness (existential import) of a term before establishing it is non-empty (deductively, inductively, or abductively), or 2) presupposing emptiness of a term after establishing its non-emptiness (deductively, inductively with at least one instance, or abductively as best explanation).
Because it is most certainly not a fallacy to require sound premises with non-empty affirmed terms. Calling that a fallacy is a monkeywrench in being, action, and meaning.
