Philosophy by function.

Yet another post of mine that will sound off the wall by the style of wording. I don’t know. Too late I wrote it.

Regions of philosophy can be defined by the atomic form of each region. The atomic form must be entirely different in concept from any other atomic form in any other region in order for it to be a genuine region. Ie: There are only a set number of “types” of philosophy, by which each “type” has to have a smallest example that doesn’t seem like any of the other smallest examples in the other types.

I believe there are only 3 real regions for philosophy. Or really . . . 3 elemental ways of reasoning. The functions in short can be thought of- (1, logic) the digital representation of information to make assumption and dedeuce, (2, metaphysics) the meaning of things as deeply or as plainly as can be put, (3, art) contemplation by shear chaos and conjuring by creative ability to cycle back into metaphysics and logic. Philosophers generally use all 3 to some extent because they’re all too crucial in reasoning to be left out.

LOGIC: The use of symbols and rules of syntax to describe assumptions and dedeuce from assumptions.

Logic atom: Axiom. If A then B. If B then C. Therefore If A then C.

METAPHYSICS: The use of meaning to describe the nature of reality.

Metaphysical atom: The multiverse is deterministic, with expanding universes creating relatively deterministic physical laws.

DISSEMINATION OF ART: Establishing meaning from a context which warrants no related meaning, but can by comparison. A story, real or imagined, not as a direct action for the sake of researching the concept. An accident leading to possible new meanings. Thus the “imagination” where new ideas can be churned without the need for an axiom or expansion of meaning.

Art dissemination atom: How event A can reiterate or modify metaphysical concept A. How Alice down the rabbit hole can represent an explorer entering a short pathway to a whole new way of perceiving or a whole new place entirely.

don’t forget that A B and C can be combined in an infinite amount of ways

Seems like a sound view to me.

Your three categories remind me of the three domaneering cultures in the history of philosophy:

  1. logic = modern western way

  2. metaphysics = ancient greek way

  3. art = far eastern way

Why is it logical that C comes right after B? According to the Greek alphabet Gamma (G) comes after Beta (B) and as far as I know Philosophy started in ancient Greece. I think you have been to rough with your categories.

nice definitions!

may i add ~ if at all relevant… well i thought perhaps that if you can have functions then you can have a universal integer of philosophy?

for example:

define ‘it’?

for me the essential integer of philosophy is ‘it’. [is there a better universal integer?]

e.g. is god male; if ‘god’ {?} is a universal entity then it = either neither and both of a dichotomy.
conclusion; no, god if existant is not male [if ‘he’ is not universal then a greater ‘god’ is].

or

what is everything [i.e. as a single entity]; ‘it’ is infinitely tangental and hence it doesn’t matter how many ‘it’s you put together you never arrive at a whole. conclusion one may not define the whole by the parts, or the whole at all.
