I got my tongue pierced a few years ago (passed out shortly after the process, btw). A couple weeks later, I took it out for something like 45 minutes, and the hole closed up to the extent I couldn’t get the bar back through. Had I a normal bar, that probably wouldn’t have happened, but I was using a slightly oversized bar. Oh well.
Around that same time, my gf pierced the cartilage in my upper ear. After a few weeks, it got infected. Just have my ears pierced now.
I have two tattoos, one on each of my shoulders, and wouldn’t mind a couple more.
I wish I could get more tats. I want a mural on my back…
I have an L.A. tat, a Salvador tat, an angel/demon tat, a Virgin Mary tat, & a G’n’R tat.
I had two piercings in each ear, I had a brow piercing too.
I hate tatoos mainly because I don’t think they are pretty - I love the human body - it is already a work of art and doesn’t need pictures on it that I would tire of. I have my ears pierced. My daughter is the only one of her friends who didn’t pierce her belly button because she was raised by me.
I would only be midly upset if she pierced something, but would “kill” her if she got a tatoo and she knows it. She is absolutely stunning without it.
I have absolutely no tatoos or body-piercings whatsoever, and that’s how I intend to stay. I can kind of understand the appeal of tatoos, although I imagine people get tired of them, but I can’t fathom piercings. What’s the point in sticking a piece of metal into one’s body?
That people are prepared to endure physical pain for petty decorative purposes is something I find baffling. Are passers-by in the street supposed to think: “hey, that lady’s got a small piece of metal in her face - now she’s more desirable” ?
Man has always wanted to improve on god’s creations…
Besides, if god exists, it just might piss him off and that would make me:
Before I got them done, I had the ink blessed by a Native American holy man…
I used the tats protected me from evil spirits because the ink flowed through my blood.
Actually, I still do.
I will never tire of my tats.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. A gross body is not made more beautiful with pictures, but the body is not gross at all if it happens to be the body of someone you love.
My tattoo represents a certain person. A person that no longer exists. It’s beautiful. It doesn’t add or take away from my body. My body is still what it is. The tattoo is just on the skin.
As I started it…
I have my belly button pierced (and no i don’t think guys are gonna go wow she stuck a piece of metal through her stomach now shes sexy- although some guys do find it sexy) i like it, its fun, I can get lots of fun jewellery, it was a choice I made and i’m happy with it, i’ve had it over three years now, and i still find it fun
i also have my ears pierced…
no tats, my mum mould kill me tho i’d love one
I wante da tongue piercing for ages, but i got talked out of it…

Your body is not for YOU to behold. Maybe you are your own greatest lover!! Very funny. If you hate it so much, do something about it. It will only take you a year of torture, but think of the gain in beholding a new and improved Mastriani.
