please disprove this

I want you to believe that you are not important.

I believe you.

I’ve been honest with you all up antil now, trying to tell you and show you how I feel inside, and now you teach me something very important. I will never forget it.

Erm… WHAT???

Oh… I think i get it now

well this would be facinating if i were a shrink… but since i’m not… i think i’ll bow out before the deamons get me…

Hahahah.

You think that I believe in and mean what I say?

Surely to be human is also the greatest thing you can be as a project thats self-surpassing – or maybe both at the same time - ala Sartre and Ortega….

Not only stupid but actually probably pretty much impossible for beings constituted as we are…
(man you’re even contradicting your own signature! – the start creating now bit?)

As for Dan/Satan - yes I kind of hoped you did mean what you said!

Krossie

It was a test…

And I say to myself:
The nature of evil,
The evil of nature.

Apply morality to nature…
What happens?

But then apply morality to human desire,
What happens?

But then apply nature to human desire,
What happens?

A few questions:

1:
If Satan is an incorrect idiot, why is he still in control of earth whilst Jesus is dead?

2:
Only an idiot would destroy his powersource.

3:
Total amorality means a person does not judge the act but he/she judges the effect of the act upon himself. This is the opposite of moral slavery, and moral slavery causes most the hate and suffering that we see on earth.

4:
If “God is love”, why does he directly do less for you then your own parents, and why does he find it so easy to supposedly kill people with natural-disasters?

~

At the start of the thread I was just messin’ around, but really, in nature – what animals do is based on what they want, not what “is right”, and as they do what they want instead of “what is right”, a natural order is formed. Those who want what works best fair best.

Most people’s natural state is underdeveloped and misjudged.
Most people have been dominated and domesticated by morality, and the opress everything inside of them that the people around them do not want, instead of developing what was supressed.

All that is needed for the ultimate level of “good” is to simply place your lust and your greed into the future of your environment.

Krossie.

I was sarcastic when I said:

Anyways, when we believe we are not important we put our own desires aside and allow external forces to control our lives.

And what happens when someone tries to persuade the other that they are not important? What are they doing?
“Submit with us!”

And is it any wonder that the people who commit suicide are the same ones who absolutely submit? They are the most “humble”, they feel the most compassion for the problems on earth, they are the least likely to fight back, and they will never brag or take.

Aren’t they the ideal slaves? Their souls completely broken, and them totally in need of your judgment. Only once YOU say many, many times that they deserve to live will they feel like they want anything at all for themselves, and for a short time will they feel it.

But how often would you ever say the opposite?
Would you ever encourage someone to rebel, to take, to fight and to stop submitting? And what would be the result?

Perhaps the food source would become a bit less digestable, and the slave not so easy to control?

Who is more evil?
God or Satan?
Nature or civilization?
The civilized or the uncivilized?

Only when you can’t figure life out.

Only if you can not conquor what causes pain.

Only because it causes a hoplessness to life. An extream frustraition to a huge wall.

Only when people learn to deal with frustraition by physical means. There are two types of people,… those who turn frustriation inwardly, and those who do it outwardly. Those who do it inwardly are in danger of becomming depressed. Those who do it outwardly are in danger of unpredictably violent.

Only for fungus.

I eat fungus for breakfast.

Don’t write childrens poetry. You’d perpetuate hoplessness.

Yes , well hope only brought death and war to those who use it…
hopelessness grows to very wise and caring children/teens/etc.

Please explain to me how believing you are unimportant contradicts creativity.

How is believing you are unimportant impossible?

You believe whatever you want to.

Exactly we are complex and amazing creatures we can create and believe anything we want to

We are not “unimportant” even if we want to be.

I go with Jose Ortegas beautiful description of “man” as an ontological centaur – “half immersed in nature, have transcending it”
Another function of our complexity is that we can deny it to ourselves!

I will how ever go with you that you can consider yourself non important and still be highly creative - those Tibetian monks and their sand creations spring to mind (can’t rember what they’re called)

Krossie

Dan, the simple disproof is this:
You’re equivocating with several different meanings of the word ‘life’.

Your series begins with human, social life- that fear brings hate, and hate brings death, are uniquely human situations, as far as we can tell.

That death brings food is a natural process, so here you’re equating life with the natural- which is different.

But you use this to invoke something about Satan, evil, and so on, which are moral issues, and thus, human issues.

Consider the split- All food-producing death is predation- animals eating each other, humans eating animals. In the case of predation, the death is not produced by hate and fear at all. If anything, ‘hate’ doesn’t apply to most animals, and fear is a by-product that is not a needed part of the cycle. So the death that involves creating food has nothing to do with good or evil.

On the other hand, within humanity, pain DOES often lead to fear, hate, and death. However, that death (people killing people) has nothing to do with producing food (since we aren’t cannibals) and thus, nothing to do with any cycle that sustains humanity. So while the cycle of hate, fear, death and so on is present in humans, and is evil, it is not necessary for our survival.

So you’ve mixed two cycles. Each one, taken seperately, does NOT lead to the big, pessimistic conclusion you want it to.

The End.

Hope from overcomming oppression lead to war.
Hopelessness to be able to overcome oppression lead to internal analizing of ideas.

Dan~ wrote:

The flaw in the ‘eternal six’ is that Life brings a heck of a lot more things than just pain and a heck of a lot more than hate brings death. This means that only three of these six can be described as eternal, making a cycle of:
Life brings Death,
Death is Food,
Food feeds Life.

That is my critique.
I would also like to thank Dan~ for putting in the effort of posting something this out of the ordinary. (What a nice chap  )
