See “Eternity in Their Hearts” by Don Richardson for transcultural spiritual stuff.
The thing folks get wrong about Plato/Socrates & Black Elk/Crazy Horse is they are actually talking about all this. Spirit. Not in the abstract. Abstraction is like abduction. The puzzle (is) meant to (will) be solved. Always already not yet.
I got that therefore therefore the fullness includes its grace, as a condition that does not violate the pleasurable principle of lasting , out that is reversively in.
Depends on wether the choice it’s self is part of it to be exclusion or not, OR that the choice is either or/and not included.
The fact of an absolute exclusiveness can not ever occur on that criteria, is functionally predetermined by the degree of overlap between the pain caused by exclusive access, and the pleasurable factual determination of a functional objectivity.
So indeed you are much more probably right than not in feeling determined to choose accordingly.
We are the ones with the problem. From his (God’s) perspective, we are in him even if we don’t want to be. He is giving us what we want in giving us space from him (if that is what we want) even though we’re (the space is) in him. He isn’t violating his self, or ours, because he is giving us what we want, and as soon as we want something else (to draw “near”), he will give us that…even though we always already had it… But we can’t have it all at once, or we’ll explode.
It’s like with Moses. Exodus 33:18-20. Israel could have had same, but opted out. Exodus 20:19.
I have good news and bad news. The good news is you can experience the glory of God—you’re experiencing (are) a little bit of it right now, even if you don’t know it/you. The bad news is … you can’t experience all of it … all at once … everywhere … and live (as a mortal) … but (again) … he shares as necessary.
But something tells me I’m preaching to the choir.
derleydoo was interested enough to start a thread - rather than hijack another’s thread.
Ichthus had a go at explaining (apparently ). She also referenced a post that she produced with you in mind. However, you, Ecmandu, did not respond to that thread.
Using plain English and simple terms, please enlighten me - what is the PEAP?
What follows is your response to my original question:
What is the PEAP? Horse’s mouth! Problem or invention?
That’s because you have that damned Bible in your hands.
If the Bible is true, god could make an infinite number of mud people in our own private universe (as we are mud people too) to please us without offending them or us.
You need to get your head on straight Ichthus and throw that book in the trash.
I respect that you’re in a fully immersive video game, but there are real people.
I’d venture to say that the Bible alone is responsible for hurting more lives than any other print.
And not for ‘noble’ reasons.
It’s trash, it’s rot, it’s poop festering with flies and maggots.
Even if all the Bibles in heaven & earth pass away, their essence will never pass away.
The truth is an eternal sword, points from head to toe, bent in the middle, boomeranging when you toss it out. You’ll get it.
Don’t ask for a pain free existence. Ask to be strong enough to endure it, be thankful for the endurance exercises, and appreciate the joy already resulting when you are or know you will be so strong, what used to take you down feels like a cool breeze sustaining you for the next challenge.
MagsJ, my words are more action-istic than your words. lol jk
