People are objects, not subjects. Therefore, people can become manipulated.
In order to manipulate a person, one must first pinpoint his/her Logos and Psyche. The Logos of a mind retains a definitive signature.
Once this Logos is pinpointed, and defined, then the physical manipulation of a person can begin. This is known as mind control or mental domination.
Will is the infliction and imposition of such, mental domination. A mind without willpower is easy to manipulate and control, as if it were a preprogrammed robot. Women and children are easier to manipulate than full bodied, adult white men, at the height of their maturity. This is because men resort to violence, once they understand their ego is being attacked. Women and children do not, and if they do, can become overpowered quite easily.
It is best to manipulate people first of all, because socialization and development are primary aspects of human volition.
If you manipulate a person to do and act for you, then this person subsequently can manipulate other people and objects according to YOUR WILLPOWER.
Controlling people is easy, once you predict the patterns of their Logos. However, most of this work is intuitive. Hence, some will be better at it than others.
I don’t know if there is a “best way” to wield power.
But when people do not know you are powerful, and you actually CAN control what other people do, think, and say, then it definitely is helpful if this ability to control and manipulate goes unnoticed. Because if people found out that you were manipulating them, then they would grow a distrust and hatred against you, and revolt/rebel against your controlling.
I would call that “soft power” opposed to “hard power”. Hard power is like sitting on a throne, where everybody knows you are king, and a lot of people who are your enemies DO want to kill you, and DO know who you are, where you live, and who your family is, so you are very weak in comparison to just not being known in the first place. But hard power does afford some other benefits, such as fame, if you are inclined to favor fame over no fame at all.
Sometimes the figurehead IS the one, though. Again, it is a matter of difference between soft and hard power. A rare individual can encompass both positions, who leads and does all of his own thinking. It is more common for there to be two men, though, as with George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, and even Karl Rove. Bush was in the position of “hard power” while Cheney was in the position of “soft power”, whispering orders into Bush’s ears. Bush basically did as he was told.
I also suspect Hitler was a figurehead for somebody else; he may not have upheld both positions. I don’t know enough of the history there, though. It must be rare for a man to fulfill BOTH positions on his own, as he must rely on both his smarts AND strength, together.
this post seems to me to suggest that seepingin is aware that his own post is a manipulation of ones thoughts (mine)
this agent (me) recognizes a manipulation has occurred, and chooses to make this post as a result
perhaps this behavior was intended, perhaps not
this agent reasons about the post and concludes that its power is not equal to what it was before, although it is still unknown whether or not the power change is beneficial to this entity
perhaps i now have the tools to more easily manipulate others for my benefit, or perhaps my response makes you more powerful, directly or indirectly
this agent is willing to predict that you are in a similar position
