Looking for people who, if I convinced them they could live without eating or drinking as long as they want to live, would be able to start not eating or drinking to prove it to people that can’t be convinced by the pdf file. I can’t do it myself because I’m prevented from doing it.
I know this may sound crazy, but give it a fair shot perhaps please.
Firstly: there are millions of examples every day of organisms not getting enough to eat and drink and dying. Famines that affect hundreds of thousands of people happen regularly. Anorexics lose weight. People cutting down on calories generally lose weight. People who eat a lot and move little generally gain weight. In short, there’s an overwhelming amount of evidence against your hypothesis.
Secondly, you don’t support your hypothesis at all. You argue for an original creator on the basis of awareness, and then you state out of the blue that this creator sustains one, and not food. No argument linking the two. If there is a creator, it seems reasonable to suppose that it created us such that we require food to be sustained. No reason to assume otherwise.
Thirdly, you’re not even practising this yourself. Moreover, you’re being prevented from doing so. Why? By whom? Given that these people will be risking serious health issues just to try out your theory, why would you want them to? Idle curiosity?
It sounds crazy because, insofar as there’s a huge amount of evidence to disbelieve it and no evidence or cogent argumentation to believe in it, it is crazy.
You simply live until you have no more will, then only because you have no more will, you die.
You should have done more to support your will.
…like perhaps respecting your body and FEEDING IT!!!
So far, I’ve not gotten anyone to agree that they would do it (it = not eat or drink) or allow me to do it in their houses if I were to prove to them that they could do it and live.
Maybe when I get someone worth the trouble of convincing I will convince them, until then.
I don’t believe a person can survive on nothing but I don’t want to disrespect you either.
What I wonder is what motivated you to investigate if a diet of nothing was sustainable, and also what prevents you from having this diet, but doesn’t prevent others. So, what prevents you?
Most intellectuals would disagree with me that living without food is possible. And, it is not a miracle by any means but has proper explanations, though some may see those explanations as miracles.
There are some alternative methods that can bypass the normal physical food intake producure yet can deliver the same result.
It is not a new phenomenon but practiced in India and Yoga since ages. There is a concept of yoga of death as a subset of Hath Yoga (yoga by force). That is how ancient sages used to live for centuries in the Himalayas.
I must tell members here that is not merely a theory but can be implemented successfully. But, these are extreme things as the very physical boundries of the humans are challenged, thus, it takes years of commitment and effort to enable oneself ready for such things. So, it may be dangerous for those who are not in that league.
I am involved in such things since long and also tried in on myself manytimes but two times very seriously.
First time, i qitted all except water, tea and smoking and continued fasting for 44 days. I lived usual life and also continued with my job during that time. Nothing extraordinary happened except loss of some kilos.
Second time, i quitted even tea and smoking and lived merely on water for 23 days, though i wanted to continue for more time but i had to come back to home for some reasons and i cannot do these things while living with family.
Nothing special happened even this time except losing some weight, but that was certainly not weakness. On the contrary, i was feeling very light and nimble.
