Rachmaninov Concerto Pour Piano No. 3

OMG YES

There is a recording of this performed with Vladimir Ashkenazy and the LSO, the best one I’ve ever heard.

If you are referring to the above, Rach playing himself, although less dramatic and flair, is most authentic, by definition, although supposedly he is no longer in the land of the living.

Here is same man when he was a boy playing the same concerto, considered one of the hardest if not the hardest piano piece, ever:

I kinda know that except the closeness between autism and artistic liscence is not too narrow not to miss, or is it the other way: that is if the consensus that life imitates art still can hold true…

Imagine thinking any governor or senator actually cares about you.

I mean. Just.

Imagine the autism of that. Really imagine it.

No one in Caesar’s day imagine he cared about you personally. They just did their best to avoid him. No self-deception needed when you have clear reality discernment.

So… wtf is going on with politics these days? Peeps literally believe the politicians care about them? like wtf?

Maybe artistic liscence can overwrite autistic perception.

Bro. nope

know?

@Carleas I vote that if this knucklehead uses the word “autism” in a derogatory manner two more times he’s out permanently, this being the official warning.

I also vote that the ability to ignore a profile be permanent. In the current situation, you can only do it for a very short time period.

How ironic that he can post on topic in the “evil isn’t necessary” thread, and go be evil about autism all over the freaking boards. He should definitely curb the latter part so we can actually enjoy the former part.

I’m just pissed I wasn’t born in a swing state.

OK I take it back, yes this can occur.

Really believe, relieved, but I wasn’t referring to Rachmaninoff playing his own piece, but the young Alexander Malofeev to hear what difference could be in interpretation.

The other, following, , not really being him, as it were, politics as usual,

but here gome silly again, it’s all premonition, dread and hope in a melange , that’s what the concerto feels like, after all he is not, like Chopin, overtly revolutionary, or did the romantic idiom absent Russia at around the times when the revolutionary etude in the heyday of the city of light after all French was the sign of rage of Russian cream de la crème as to why Peter the Great built Petersburg , so the he could simulate the feeling by sharing. In the light.

Tomyhisself: maybe the better course is to stop it : there that liscence again curtailed, who said there are no revolutionary remnants left in the patchwork that empire makes? Don’t be silly, child that they
