Actually, the writers of the Bible knew a lot less about most things than we do. Knowledge has progressed in 6000 years through science and experience. Unfortunately, people who study the Bible often seem to think they know more than they do. One of the first things I learned studying philosophy in a university setting is to not pretend to myself that I know more than I do. Unfortunately, many don’t approach things that way so knowing some things is a good idea to find out who is intelligent and who is only spouting BS. You, my friend, seem to be spouting a lot of BS to the best of my reckoning.
