Religion is a ruling class deception to trick the masses into believing that God is responsible for the ruling classes decisions and rules. By creating a third party invisible person who exists in heaven, then, all manner of atrocities can be committed in the name of that God or invisible third party person or being. A set of rules and morals can be enforced which heavily favours the ruling class can be imposed upon the will of the masses. And because the masses think that this God is outside the realm of this world, any bad things that happen, such as floods or famines , can thus, be clearly blamed on the gods as being the responsible bodies who should get all the criticism and blame. Thus, nobody will ever suspect that the ruling class should get the blame for any disasters that occur which may be either natural or man-made.
Thus, we see that religion is a means of manipulating and controlling the masses. It also provides a method of subtle brainwashing which is commenced at a very early age before the brain has a chance to think independently and coherently.
Spirituality is just a religious state or spell bound state of mind of somebody who is already under the influence of a religious order. Spirituality is the opposite of conscious reasoning and logic. One should always be wary of a person who portends to be spiritual because you know that this person has a lot of hidden agendas and would most likely want to brainwash you with their religious beliefs.
