Return to Dasein: Chapter 2

Everybody has their own life experiences, which compels one to acquire one opinion or another. Through dumb accident, one ends up thinking one way or another about anything, or about certain things, which one’s life experiences compel one to consider are worth thinking about.

The intellect is a practice whereby one considers what might or not be the truth about anything without consideration for one’s life trajectory.

K: this post is a random collection of words that mean nothing unless they have some basis
in reality or facts or experience… please flesh out this post to actually have some
real world basis or experiences…

This is why i believe the brain is not a perfect representation of who we really are.
But it’s all that we’ve got, so it is accepted as the true self.

Here, we are not so much concerned with identity but with the formulation of opinions, and the inherence of the intellect.

In terms of the self, for example, one can derive one’s opinion on what it is based on one’s life experiences, or intellectually.

Dasein would be an intellectual formulation holding that it can only be based one our life experiences, defeating its own purpose.

Dasein points out that man’s basic state is one of judging by one’s own experience. So, as a point of view, it is superfluous. It also denies the possibility of judging except by one’s own experience, so, as a product of the intellect, defeats its own purpose.

Pedro said :

me no says : that is, disregarding the source of such a purpose and it’s more than experience based re-presentation.

Heidegger allowed that much, an abject denial by buggy himself.

I’m sorry Meno, I have you on ignore too. If you can’t be bothered to write clearly, I can’t be bothered to read.

I’m sure whatever you said was very smart.

Well need a context, of course.

How about this one:

In other words, making that crucial distinction between dasein – I – in the either/or world and dasein – “i” – in the is/ought world.

Empirical, demographic facts about ourselves and others and what are called “personal opinions” about ourselves and others.

Whose intellect in regard to what set of circumstances? What can all intellects agree is true objectively regardless of whatever their life trajectories might have been.

For example, I believe that, sans sims worlds, dream worlds, Matrix worlds etc., we can all agree that as iambiguous, I post here at ILP.

Now, some insist in turn that I am also a troll. So, am I in fact a troll here? Is that an objective fact or merely a subjective/subjunctive assumption rooted in dasein? How exactly would that be established in the same manner in which it can be that demonstrated that I did in fact post this here?

We already went over that Iam, I am not going to revisit old terrain.

Right, as though I am actually addressing my point to you!!!

I long ago wrote you off as someone I can pursue an intelligent discussion with in regard to identity, value judgments and political economy at particular existential junctures. But I will never pass up the opportunity to make a fool out of you. Or, better still, to give you yet more opportunities to accomplish that yourself.

It’s not something I am proud of however. After all, in some respects, it just amounts to me making a fool out of myself.

But there it is. You bring it out on me. Somewhere in that murky middle between why I think I do it and “the gap”.

Of course! Pedro’s Corner!!!

between work and being sick, I haven’t been able too comment,
but I am quite pleased the Pedreoo has me on ignore… it tells me that
pedreeo is afraid of reading what I am writing…

He fears it because I am making sense to him… think about it…
why would you put someone on ignore? Because he is beneath your
contempt? Hardly, the reason you put someone on ignore is because
he is a threat to your way of thinking… I am a danger to his indoctrinations,
his biases, his prejudices…Pedddro is afraid that I might be able to change his mind…
and his reaction? put me on ignore…Peddreo put me on ignore because
I was being to effective in pointing out his flaws and failures…I was a threat
to his belief system…it is from fear and weakness that Peedreo has me on ignore…
just as Ur attacks me, it is from fear and weakness, not strength…
which is why when we attack someone or put them on ignore, we are acting from
fear and weakness, not strength

I am glad to have cleared that up…peedre will make some notice how he has me
on ignore, but now we know why he has me on ignore…

I love it when someone proves my point…

This thread is like a modern art piece.

Yo y’all faggots are sure you aren’t the same person?

Crap! Crap!! Crap!!!

And, by all means, steal that one from me too.

Or, perhaps, you can just go back to the Corner and write more of that preposterous “poetry”.

Unless, of course, your whole point there is actually to mock doggerel of that “it’s so deep it’s meaningless” tripe.

Not at all really unlike the way you mock philosophy itself on this board.

The new ILP let’s call it.
