Number two is a drum. The twist word is “beat.” You can beat a cow or beat a drum.

Number 4 is a hole. The twist word is “in.” If you put a hole in a bucket, it will be lighter. Anything else you put in a bucket makes it heavier.

An Imaginary Man: The answer is Nothing. Alas, this was one of the first riddles posed in this thread.

Answer = walnut, or many other kinds of nuts. The twist word is “meat.” This is a more archaic use of the word, also used in minced-meat pie.
