Satya... and Asat

Satya: truth or essence.. refers to being truthful
in one’s thoughts, speech and action…

Asat: is the opposite, it is delusion, distorted, untrue,
a fleeting impression that is incorrect, invalid, false…

and how do we know if this IQ45 administration is
Satya or Asat? Look at how often this administration has
had to backtrack its policies and rules… or as the saying goes
about IQ45… TACO… and the administration will never,
never admit it is wrong about anything… which is just
another way of knowing that this administration is Asat…
for to make an honest mistake is acceptable, but never
taking responsibility for that mistake? and where does
all of this lead us?

Because those who practice Asat, find themselves making
mistake after mistake after mistake… and why? Because
they don’t stand for anything… they act ‘‘ad hoc’’ of the
moment, because they have no truth, no Satya they follow…
it is greed and anger and hate and lust they follow, and those
vices are not grounded in Satya… they are clearly Asat…
IQ45 has no Satya, only Asat… and that leads him
to change course, repeat lies, attempt to force others to
obey him based on threats and force, not to be followed
because he speaks or act or thinks Satya…
to follow IQ45 is to follow Asat…

but let us turn this into a more personal discussion…
do you follow Satya? do you speak the truth, or act upon
the truth or think the truth? and how do you know your
‘‘Satya’’ is actually the truth… or just wishful thinking on
your part? In reading people around here, it is clear,
that most people around here wouldn’t know the
truth, Satya, if it came up and bit them on the ass…

as for me, I follow the truth/Satya of Justice, which
is equality… so, what truth/Satya do you follow?

let us look at two truths or Satya’s…

One truth is encapsulated by Evolution…
the other truth is denoted by the term ‘‘god’’

Now one may call them ‘‘binary’’ truths, but
the entire scope of reality can be met by
these two truths… the material and the ''immaterial"…
as these two truths might be thought of…

The truth I hold to is found within evolution…
which is the material world…evolution is
about the movement of species in the world…
we human beings were born animals… millions
of years ago, we were a branch of the Monkey family…
and for reasons unknown, we grew, we became something
more… that evolution is the hallmark of human beings…
and why? because we are a moving, changing species…
we don’t stand still… look at us at birth… a small, unable
to take care of ourselves, at birth… and it takes years
before we are able to care for ourselves… and then,
finally, the day comes when we can take care of ourselves…
that is the essence of evolution… the movement of the
human species…from not being able to care for ourselves
to being able to care for ourselves… that is just
one movement that human beings achieve during their
lifetime…from being unable to feed ourselves, to take
basic care of our bodies, to be unable to speak, read
or walk… and then we grow, from infants to children,
that growth, allows us to move and walk, and talk
and eat and to become more human…
and with each passing year, we can accomplish
and achieve ever more actions… we evolve…
change… movement/change is the heart of being human…
that is the beauty of being human… we are beings that
change, every single day… we are not, as dog or cats
or cows, fixed on certain behaviors… that only dogs or
cats or cows can do…they cannot become anything more
than a dog or cat or a cow…but human beings are, as
Nietzsche called it, a ‘‘tightrope’’ between animal and becoming
human, fully human…today, we are on that path of becoming
human… we are still too locked into animal actions and
behavior… we depend too much on instinct and not
enough on the human traits of thinking, contemplation,
reasoning… human beings, unlike animals, can foresee
a future, mull over the past, regret and cry over the past, present
and future… but don’t make the mistake of thinking that
all of this is outside of us… we contemplate and mull over
inside of us…it is internal… unlike animals… that can only
react to events outside of them…an animal is driven
by its needs and reacts to that… human beings can
change, react, behave outside of our needs and wants…
we can be altruistic… which is outside of our needs
and wants… and that is why I believe in evolution…

the other side is abbreviated by the word ‘‘god’’…
a god driven universe is a static, unchanging, passive,
immovable world… we can only say yes to god or
no to god… there are no other options within a
god world…and the choices in a god world revolves
around going to heaven or going to hell… there isn’t
another choice… and I believe in choices, which is
another reason why I hold to evolution… it offers
us choices that isn’t present or available in a god driven
universe… I am not limited to a choice of heaven or hell…

my truth or Satya is that we are free to choose our future…
and free to accept both the past and present… it is not
just about being free to make choices, but to choose
to take responsibility for those choices…

evolution is about making choices, and god is about
one choice only…

my truth/Satya falls within evolution, not god…

Kropotkin

In reading ‘‘the life divine’’ by Sri Aurobindo, he makes
this statement, which I have read before…

‘‘Life exists in Braham in order to discover Braham
in itself’’

I have heard this before, that the universe has created
life to understand itself… but upon reflection, that
statement makes no sense…
It implies a couple of things… first, that the universe is
sentient and secondly, it needs to understand itself…
why does the universe need to understand itself?
Human beings, being corporal beings, of limited
intellect, of limited senses, of limited understanding,
has a need to understand the role of human beings
within the universe… we are, by definition, incomplete,
and that leads us to wonder about the nature of
existence… but what does the universe need?
how is it incomplete given it is the universe?
to say, we seek god, is to admit we are not
complete… but if god lies within the universe,
how can it not understand itself? god is everything,
and in being everything, doesn’t that suggest that
god/the universe does actually understand itself…
or said another way, if god/the universe needs to
understand itself, what the hell is it doing creating
incomplete beings like ourselves? beings that have
less understanding then god/the universe…
how does creating beings with less understanding
then god/the universe, help it understand itself?

I wouldn’t ask a child to understand me if I don’t
understand myself… what would be the point?
a child cannot possibly know or understand me,
when it barely knows itself…

to say, beings like humans were created to help
the universe understand itself, makes no sense…

..and also the way we conduct ourselves, but some here don’t care for that part.. iow, not many want to put the effort in, so they take the much-longer/winding but easier path.

All is one.
