Science has failed our world.

Just sitting in class learning about relational databases. Excel is fun to learn. I think these classes will be edifying for me no matter where I go.

All the math errors in Nasa would be less of a problem if they didn’t blindly trust the program, but instead saw what they were entering as a picture. The relational database that alloud them to guestimate the first winged space shuttle’s insulation was only erred by a numerical error hidden in lists of numbers. So you see how we look at data depicts the outcome. (jump to the bottom… this turned into a blog)

IE, one month butter was bad, and margerine was good. Then next they realized their err, and admitted a couple more facts, and did a 180º in their guesstimate. Still science can be so sure about what happened 3.5 billion years ago.

So bring up the question,… everything that is living is made of amino acids, which makes up protines, which makes up all life. So a chemical stew that was constantly being fed 2 or more new chemicals (else the chemicals would use up their cheical action) created amino acids, which like in the science of polymers, will connect together to create protines, and cell walls.

So when someone who tries to reverse engineer a cell, they can’t help but admit that they are lost. So lets put it into context… a bunch of amino acids could maybe connect together in the swiriling of the chemical stew they are grown in, thus the swiriling creates a cell wall. So with ozmosis, one cell wall allows one type of chemical to pass through the cell wall. Or all chemicals that are less then and equal to to the width of the cell wall fibers. So the chemicals enter the cell wall according to the weather. Thus, a new type of protine is alloud to enter the picture inside the cell.

When looking at any simple or complex cell, they find irreversable complexity. Take away one part, and the whole cell is worthless. That means one simple action of a cell would have to be replaced with two complex actions at any time, in order to evolve. (why two? later) So, lets see, the first cell wall would be completely enviormentally controlled. Thus, you have to change the enviorment with vast precision to invite new complexity.

DNA is quite likely a digital manor of life. But the inner workings of a cells is quite analog in nature. The one part specifically pulls another part into position in order to keep life going. It does a job through specific opposite energies doing their thing, and sending a call signal when they are ready to interact with another part. Thus, cells would need entirely complex leaps in order to start reproducing.

Certain analytical minds look at this and see alien’s started the human race. While the imaginative minds look at this, and say, I guess that science has the unprecedented properties to allow such things. Either one takes faith.

So when we take away the blinders forcing people to look at science and life from a whittled down perception. (whittled down in order to rise above the complexity we cannot imagine) They are forced to look at the spiritual side of things, and openly admit they don’t know. They try to reduce life into something they can engineer or scientifically manipulate. But then they edit out the spiritual side of life where life exists. It’s only when you lose faith in your own powers of deduction, that you learn to rely on God. Even Christians who said they knew the answer tried to force the pieces to fit, and did things like the crusades. Well, I’ve learned from God that this is a symptom of humanity, and not a relationship with God. Because God had compassion for those lost in a false hope, and not apathy.

No actually analytical minds look at something they don’t understand and say “I don’t know.” It is your assumption that one must reach a conclusion, and if one cannot then a second conclusion is therefore implied that is in error.

Perhaps we shouldn’t study anything and should be walking aimlessly around forests and grassy knolls getting bit by snakes or eaten by lions, or eating raw meats or anything that will kill us, getting diseases, without bothering to figure out how to cure them.

opps,… I guess I missed the point I was portaying. I could never be so assumptious.
Thanks, I fixed it

Yes,… lets see,… maybe we could also cut off our opposiable thumbs. Jollie Ho then.

Ahh,… the true liberalist beliefs… We either come from monkeys, and have no soul,… or we revert to being animals.

Nice altimatum. So how many liberalists do you scare with that fear mongering??? =D>

I can’t speak for “liberalists” but I’m not so sure whats fearful about coming from monkeys or not having a soul. As far as fear mongering, well, that all has to do with right wing propaganda…

Cheney: No Doubt Saddam Has WMD
Aug. 26, 2002
Dick Cheney, Vice President
“Simply stated, there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein now has weapons of mass destruction.” (more)

and the Christian god threatening to punish you to hell for eternity for not believing in a bunch of contradictory words written 2,000 - 5000 years ago. Now thats fear mongering. Eternal hell.

Okey, You get to bunk with sadamn hussain in heaven.
But then heaven wouldn’t be heaven if sadamn made it there.

And then God wouldn’t be God if listening to him would end up void.

My father told me if I went cliff diving I’d be in trouble of snapping my neck on a log.
What log? The ones seldom and periodically waterlogged and still floating down the river.
youcan’t see the logs,… but does it mean they still aren’t there? a primative science would say that they aren’t their. And science of the middle ages had zero trust because just such BS. bUT NOW SCIENCE HAS MOVED INTO IT’S ADOLECANCE,… AND WALLA,… A BUNCH OF KNOW IT ALL SNOBBY PUNKS.

But the truth of it is you fearfull wrote that all right winged republicans are nieve, and that only you can liberate people with truth. No soul and we come from monkey else we revert to cleaning eachother fur in the back woods.

Perfect logic from a liberalist. Ohh,… walks like a duck talks like a duck,… maybe I should take your word on it. (little red ridding hood asks, “My grandma what big eyes you have,” Grama says, " Ohh, I just been stuck in the dark too long and I’ve evolved.") But granma isn’t a liberalist. She just hates all republicans… big differance.

No where did I write that all right winged republicans are naive. No where did I say that I can liberate people with truth. No where did I say we have no soul and we came from monkeys.

Now, as far as logs floating down the river, you can go to the river and see logs floating down the river to confirm it, can you not? Your analogy is inappropriate.

i think science has greatly helped our world

ohh, so your jib about reverting back to the stone age if I reject scientific assumptions wasn’t an insinuation that all who reject scientific beliefs are dommed to de evulution. I guess I just followed through on you BS. Can’t imagine why you stop such perfect reasonong when it was just getting good. Ohh, because you pick and choose logic to fit your assumptions. So when logic gives you what you want, you drop it, and don’t have to follow it through to the end.

And a water logged log floats under the water.

another prodigy of cut and paste religions…

Whatever you want to think about my jib is fine and dandy but I haven’t stopped using logic, you’re the one seemingly claiming that your assumptions are logical when they have no grounds… it is just an assumption, typical to what assholes do. Assume. Assumptions are not logical.

oh, by the way, can we not investigate the water to see the logs?

Another asshole assumption.

I fail to see how science has failed our world. The accomplishments of science are too numerous to present in full, but getting us to the moon and back, finding cures for innumerable diseases that were once deadly, and providing the very resources you used to post this topic (computers, the internet, etc) seem like fantastic successes to me.

Of course, the entire history of science is founded upon being wrong, realizing we were wrong, and coming up with a better explanation, then finding it’s also wrong, and so on. No doubt much of our current understanding of how the world works is wrong as well. But practically every time we go from one wrong theory to another in science, we move from a less useful wrong theory to a more useful wrong theory. There is no reason to think that this trend won’t continue. Chances are we will never come to a perfect understanding of our universe, and absolutely we will never reach a point where we are absolutely sure about anything, but science will always be moving forward, becoming more and more useful in helping us react to the world around us (which I’m inclined to argue is the only worthwhile standard for assessing truth).

To fill in the inevitable holes with God is a cop-out that to me shows a lack of understanding of the history of science. Believe in God all you want, but don’t use science to defend your belief until science actually provides reason to do so.

Assumption? What about a prerequisite for belief. What about unprecedented beliefs.

Do you play games with words? Or maybe words have little meaning, it must be the results you hone in on. But If words have little meaning, why bother talking. But to manipulate those who like words.

My assumptions about you… Or lets guess it’s my presidential beliefs of reality. Or lets say it’s my validation of emotions vs your discrimination from your perception. I believe that your emotions to think that I’m rejecting scientific assumptions called theories when science has shown to regularly contradict itself as it learns more,… well that all comes from the mid evil and or Renaissance eras. You believe every christian who rejects scientific guesstimate from half the facts is a witch hunter deep down. then you blame some few cases of few mid evil scientists trying to change the world on the church. Then I point out how mid evil science wasn’t even as accurate as science in it’s infancy. But science is it’s adolescence refuses to discuss the facts tied to emotions when name calling is easier. You do your best to sterilize emotions from your own soul. but all you did is cover it up with faulty logic that you defend with fear and hate.

So if you don’t distinguish yourself from these people, even though it is obviously the common mood. How am I to assume you are anything but. But as for a liberal who hides in the possibilities as some form of plausible deny-ability,… you insult my intelligence yet a second time. First by disregarding my emotions, second by spitting on me as some kind of nut.

Did I not acknowledge your views,… but you belittle mine? Did I not validate your perception by meeting you where you were at? But you just push and push,… but expect everything. All because you are unwilling to admit what is obviously the heart and soul of it all.

and by the way… when you cliff diving, and the river is constantly moving,… you fail to be able to search the river for logs. But go ahead and waist time and money tring to figure out how to. It’s your dream,… you live it.

Tough world ain’t it kid.

Words don’t hurt, but the truth stings.

Apparently you can’t stop assuming, its like your addicted.

As such you have yet to speak truth , you assume your assumptions are truth. Its getting funny.

so the accomplishments of what. Your saying that life is better since the overwhelming technology makes us work twice as hard in different areas? Or maybe you never worked on a lexis. Or maybe you never fixed or installed a washing machine.

Quality of life has just changed. We exchanged our seasonal growth spirts with steady work. We exchanged physically demanding work for brain draining work witch suffers the burnt out parents and their kids. We exchanged our farm cooked food for McDonald on a daily basis. so we can save time and a watch American idol,… or b cram on our salery job to beat the deadline. No our work ethic is still the same as pushing an ox through the fields,… sun up till sun down. But our family ethic has gown out the window. Factory jobs are better. Office jobs are a brain drain. Only few and far between make the American dream your selling. But at least we ain’t Ethiopia.

Ohhh,… and by the way. Peoples ingenuity isn’t the brainwashing called scientific theories. Science has failed our world. It fails to open the soul. It fails to bring answers but it provides distractions. It fails to accept people who believe differently then them. It’s elietism from a narrow perspective that first takes a honed imagination to perceive :-& [-( #-o   :astonished:  =D> 8-[ =; . Humanly honed.
