secret societies

FYI:

Right now on the Science Channel is a documentary on “secret societies”. And since it is the science channel, the perspectives being discussed will probably be more sophisticated than often pop up on other channels.

Here on the east coast [usa] it will be rebroadcast at 1 am.

I’ll be looking for one in particular: the Bilderberg Group.

The first half was rather disappointing. It all revolved around free masonry. A bunch of ritualistic, religious mumbo jumbo. Though many in power in America have been members.

Now, sure, there are lots of different ways you can react [respond] to others; but anyone who subscribes to a denominational religious God loses my respect…at least in regard to intellectual depth.

But now the narrator promises that, in the next segment, the Bilderberg Group will be examined. Alex Jones, of course. Personally, I think Jones goes quite a bit further than I would, but the Kingmaker role this group plays [in American politics in particular] is made abundantly clear. And that includes the current occupant of the White House. And a lot of the folks he bought into the Executive Branch with him.

Others then point out how at odds Bilderberg is from organizations like FM. In other words, there are no elaborate rituals or oaths to God here. Here they worship the bottom line. This organization is all about the global economy [in the Western World]…the stuff that Marx and Engels pointed to: political economy.

And then the Bohemian Club. It’s membership overlaps with the BG but it also includes the “ceremonial” sophistry more likely to be found in groups like FM.

Then [unfortunately] it’s back again to the “supernatural” crap.
