In my lifetime I’ve found that words are more offensive to people than actual acts. Exploiting people on a mass scale in the workforce, etc. is acceptable but complaining about it or ridiculing it is unacceptable. Being disloyal and disrespectful to a partner is acceptable, but simply verbally ridiculing those participating in such acts is unacceptable.

I have actually done my fair share of that. It has zero effect.
