Apparently we aren’t feeding prisoners enough food in the US, it is so bad, that they now use Ramen Noodles as currency, cause that is bad because I don’t know. It’s non-perishable, makes sense, but… article links this somehow to hunger. I dunno.
So, should they be fed more?

Those complaining are a very small sample indeed and the quality of food could vary within the prison system

I dunno, they like um… always manage to fight in the cafeteria. What if we just all give them pop tarts and beef sticks and shit, the stuff we normally give to skinny people to make them fat and lazy. Fat and lazy people just lie about all day, too unexcited to commit crime.
If everyone released from prison is 400+ pounds, they would be less likely to rape… as being fat reduces the sex drive… less likely to steal… as they stand out and can’t easily flee… and the fat can keep them warm and act like a cushion for when they sleep homeless under the underpass, and provide them with the energy needed to survive in the cruel months ahead.
Plus, it offers a great health boost to the rest of society, as obesity would be linked to dangerous felony in the public imagination. Fat people dangerous, skinny people good.
Solves a lot of societal ills this way.
They should be starved to death. Security guards will have job security concerning ensuring food riots.

I’m going to be counseling zoots when he gets out. Build him a little Chili Hot Dog Stand with a big brand name sign attached saying “Cleveland Steamers”, with the chili being dispensed behind a silhouette of a squatting man in the center of it, so it looks like he is shitting all over the hot dog. A little recording going making it sound like diarreah.
I will leave space beneath the push cart so he can sleep, but will have to curl as it is only 5 feet long, with a drain pipe and grey water waste storage area.

Yes, I’m sure out of fifteen years of being incarcerated he’ll want to sign up with that right away. That’s assuming he gets out alive because prison homicide is pretty high and his age has to be taken into account as well.
It sucks of course because other than having a few problems he was a fascinating guy.
I’ve been to jail three times but never went to prison thankfully. My probation is over, I am working an alright full-time job, with a wonderful woman, and I’m moving into a new house next week. I’d say my plans are working rather well if you must know.
That whole living in a cabin out of the wilderness for a year was due to me struggling with my last year of probation. Do you know how hard it is to get consistent long term work in the United States as a felon? Almost impossible and very difficult. Barely made it by the skin of my teeth and eventually I’ll have to hire an attorney to clear my record completely.
Then of course I still think there is a high probability of a global collapse scenario where if it happens I have a front row seat to the greatest comedy of the world ever devised. I still need to stock up on popcorn of course for all of that.

I see your softening your stance. Used to be absolute certainty. I suppose by time your wheeled into a hospice as a old man, terminally ill, you’ll be telling everyone 50-50 chance before you go.
