Snakes

In some parts of southern Tennessee there still exist church survices in which handling of snakes is a test of faith, according to Mark. During the service, six-foot timber rattlers are lulled by loud music and are handed from person to person. Now, if the snake bites a person and the person dies, is the snake’s faith stronger than the person’s? After all the rattlers have no religion that questions what they are and what they are capable of doing.
