If we never know that kind of love… we will. And those who withheld it (did they ever know it?) will feel our lack until they turn. Which, I dunno, may be never. Hey Ec, I just remembered, that series The Good Place has your scenario of everyone getting what they want. It’s a trick to get people to like hell or something. They got sick & tired of it because it wasn’t challenging enough, & some chose nonexistence or oblivion like at the end of the LOST series. So even getting everything you want free - at the expense of not one iota of anything - well. It’s not what you lose, it’s what you don’t gain… what you miss out on that requires hard work. The opportunity to develop your innate capabilities.
Although, what you already had developed goes wobbly, like a use or lose situation… you let yourself go. Which is fine if you’re too old & tired to do anything, but not fine if you’re a lazy hoarder (of time, talent, or treasure) who could be transforming the world, starting with yourself.
I know a guy who turned his public assistance into a ministry to feed other hungry folk, & it blew up from there. Not everybody needs to do that specific thing, but he sure seems a lot more satisfied than a lot of folks who have everything they “want”.

What is lust? Wanting the best for yourself and others. In terms of sexuality and not just the lust and attachment of making an argument or taking a stand…. People call it being sexually attracted. Sexually attracted and lust are just synonyms. As is idea conveyance attraction also lust.
It’s all about our experiential realities.
Whether they go our way or not at nobodies expense.

What of a child’s consent if they’re being murdered by a cancer, are ignorant or afraid of an operation, but it’s the only known method to guarantee their survival? A hypothetical world, where we knew the condition is 100% treatable, as long as the cancer is removed.
The child is adamant they don’t want the operation and due to their early state of development, are impossible to convince.
But they understand enough that a operation means cutting them open and removing part of body, possibly disconfiguring them - requiring plastic surgery to look ‘typical’ again, but never themselves.
They want to live, and it’s Xmas, so they’ve made a wish to Santa to cure their illness.
They ‘know’ Santa will grant this wish, and perfectly cure them without any of those consequences from surgery.
As why wouldn’t Santa cure them, when they’re such a good kid? They’ve ticked all the boxes and everyone reminds this child how lovely and kind hearted they are - a perfect, beautiful child. Why wouldn’t Santa cure them?
What do we do with this pure child’s consent?
We know what we have to do.
Explain solemnly why we’re going to have to break their consent.
We can be honest, but love sometimes, is going against the wishes of those with clouded vision.
(This is a terribly slippery slope argument, but I trust you know exactly what I’m saying)

I already covered that. We can know when another’s consent is violated. (In the case of the child and cancer).
The larger problem involves ‘knowing what’s best for another’. We scramble on this plane of existence to be kings or lords who know better …. But we don’t spend our lives trying to solve the problem on a meta scale.
It should offend the child that their consent is being violated, and it should offend us that we have a solution it doesn’t understand…. Violating our consent by violating its consent.
It’s a consent violation cancer even exists.
When we’re focused on this specific problem, we ‘see’.

We also know that we all were never born and never die and that there are consequences to our behavior …

That’s the current reality structure here and all existence.

I love drinking. I love myself for drinking. Am I ashamed that I have liver damage? No. That’s the fault of our construct related to me…. Not my fault.
I may have to quit. Through no fault of my own, because we have the construct pushing against us.
That construct is the evil…. It is the consent violation.
Nobody is evil for who they are. It’s what reality here does to them where consent violation is possible.
Why would you quit if everything here is so evil? Why not let the construct destroy your liver & rest in peace?
You’re consenting to the construct by letting it kill you, which is bad enough, but you’re AFFIRMING it if you quit drinking.
