Yes and it already is, that is what AI is really there for. One of the reasons for it, taking your jobs and future ability to earn a living through meaningful work is another reason AI exists.
All modern computers and smart devices are now running integrated AI, it means the systems and apps in the device are interconnected and all the device is secretly taking constant screenshots of everything you do for example, plus secretly recording every keystroke while also listening to you actively but as we already knew these devices will do. I have no doubt it is also secretly observing everything through the cameras since they do have no problem secretly listening through the microphones to “improve ad experience”, so why not cameras too?
AI is big brother surveillance and most people don’t realize it because these companies do not really disclose what they are doing. They say nice things like improving user experience. A euphemism at its finest for your own total loss of privacy as some evil rich capitalist who cares more about his own profit than your life or anyone else’s life has his gigantic media tech monopoly company is to able to actively monitor your entire life and knows more about you than your own family and friends.
Do you think he will tell you he is doing it? Of course not. But he is doing it to you, right this second. Unless you disable all AI features on your devices, and even then I bet they still do it anyway.
The public is clueless that their computers and smart phones and tablets are actively monitoring everything they do logging all of this data now owned by the largest corporations on earth who view you as nothing but a consumer cattle for reaping the most profit from before you are disposed as useless to their narcissist quest for absolute power, all wealth and total world control.
If that’s not dictatorship and totalitarian then I don’t know what is. Because you can bet these corporations and super rich do not care about you and are exploiting your ignorance using their Big Brother devices.
The difference between a benevolent dictatorship that actually cares about the people it is governing versus a malicious one that gets off of the suffering of people by those who have no humanity themselves.
