Anyone ever read or see the famous Twilight Zone episode when an alien deomnstrates to another one how easy it is to defeat earthlings? All they had to do was cause a blackout here or there, flicker lights now and then, and pretty soon an entire neighbourhood was destroying itself. Now, that was not my intention when I started the thread, but I do get a “T Z moment” feel when I see how it has progressed.
In addition to saying that everything I do has a purpose, I also say that I try to be very honest and thus reveal what I’m doing if the people involved don’t get it right away. So, I will explain/clarify a few things. But later. Soon, but later. The one thing I will make clear is that O_G is bang on in his inference that I love mysteries. That’s one of the attractions of my field. One of my earlier ILP threads was entitled: “What do you see?”…
So yes, the “mystery solving” aspect was the primary motivation for this thread. However, when I have a bit more time–and after I’ve seen a few more interesting responses…so far, I’m seeing some accurate inferences blended with the sublimely ridiculous --I’ll give “full disclosure” as honestly as always.

I was simply the same poster I always have been and was pretty obvious about it–even my name was a pretty obvious hint, or so I thought…
However, some of my rants of late have hinted at my “coming out,” you know…I think my most obvious one was in response to aspacia. It’s all there…it really is…Actually, I’ve been pretty obvious about my orientation since day one. I know much about my life, lifestyle, status in society, and so on appear one way, but I think my stance in certain relevant threads for many, many months has made it pretty clear that I am, in fact, pretty AC/DC…Must be my open-minded and liberal background that make me pretty comfortable being able to admit to such things.
On a side note, I do a lot of psychological/personality/intelligence testing, and it’s funny how certain people react when asked basic to moderately difficult questions on the IQ test: the truly intelligent recognize that even the moderately difficult questions are only that, while those who think they are intelligent but really aren’t act all smug when they get the easy/moderately difficult questions right. This is a reflection of their personality as well, of course.
There is also a huge correlation between such behaviours on the IQ testing and their response to the Rorschach ink blots. Namely, there is one very obvious feature of the blots that is nearly impossible to miss for most “normal” people. It’s so obvious that most people don’t even mention it or do so as a side comment–usually to cover up their insecurity at dealing with such an ambiguous/unstructured test. However, the people mentioned above will smugly point out this feature as if they’ve cracked the da Vinci code… =D> And, finally, they are the same types of people who will say something to the effect of “I’m extremely creative/gifted/imaginative/great at telling stories” and then proceed to tell the most simplistic, cliched, “weak” stories in the Thematic Apperception Test (which involves telling stories). As adlerian will attest to, there are certain reliable patterns one can pick up with enough exposure to them…
Anyway, apropos of something I can’t quite put my finger on, it’s good to see that the obvious hints in my name were understood by some…there’s still one major “meaning” in my name that I haven’t seen mentioned; it adds a hint of irony to my name…
nobody seems to be cheering now that PG is banned,but back in the day they were really bitching about PG’s unthoughtfull threads.
as well,i dunno if this was/is true but,i feel PG only asked questions at one point and then (maybe only after i asked her to start replying to topics) later came out with this insulting personality.
of coarse since PG predated me in ILP,i dont know if she commented on stuff before i joined or not.
i was also wondering who were the oldest posters here,and thinking how much experience at ILP they must have by now…

The funniest thing is, no matter how obviously certain things might be presented, some people will never get it…And as someone alluded to above, have you ever noticed how quiet people get when they think they’re being “observed”??
