Only some people have free will and even then it is limited because nobody has free will all of the time despite what Free Will believers say the believer is in absolute free will are idiotic according to them Free Will is a superpower that can change almost anything if a person just simply does something that is not possible and completely goes against reality that is not to say that humans don’t make choices that change things but most choices are utterly pointless or they were already determined.

This is why the argument can be made that giving birth to a child is the greatest gift in this existence, and also simultaneously the greatest sin.
Nobody was asked whether or not they wish to be born. Free will has nothing do with this. It doesnt even come into play.

The liberal notion is that only bad things happen to bad people or that people bring things onto themselves. The system isn’t at at fault, the people are.
All of that of course isn’t true and is nonsense, I have seen plenty of good people be punished for things they have no control over mercilessly.
This wicked world of ours doesn’t favor the good or the virtuous.

Liberal capitalism, financial economic capitalism cannot fail people, only people fail at liberal economic capitalism and suffer as a direct result.

But yes, you can separate this particular conversation from political structures. There’s never really been a large scale political structure that makes the Title of the OP untrue. Every society that ever has existed has had some people born into a life of suffering, that’s either inescapable or practically near-inescapable, and other people flourishing (at least relatively speaking).

Not all of human suffering is political and economic, but a lionshare of it really is.
You have very high expectations of people being perfect all the time in every interaction.
It must infuriate you when people don’t meet your upheld standards. Loosen up guy.

So act on the good ones (choices) anyway, because who knows, had you not acted rightly in those moments, that which was already “determined” as you say, would have become extinct, for your lack of taking action.
