Spore is NOT for everyone

Outrageous!

she might as well keep her son in a cave all of his life.

Naah, you gotta appreciate a parent with a sense of humor.

Can’t a game just be a game anymore, a movie just a movie or a book just be a book? Entertainment has been raped and kidnapped by politics and religion. :-&

thats the game i was thinking about, but never looked into.

i don’t see the creature in the picture as demonic. look, i can post pictures of disgusting animals like angler fish, lampreys and others…

hmmm. i know someone has added goat horns, bat wings and possibly a pterodactyl’s tail with some evilish other features. (and i’m not talking about this game BTW in the previous sentence.)but to me,it was always the intent.

well that game sounds interesting. Xunzian, have u ever played that game?

What I find funny is this: Human adaptations against predatory animals, have created an easy road to imagining goat-horned devils in religion, which then in turn, makes the person reject his son playing a fake game about evolution.

Nice. hahaha.

Spore’s definitely not for everyone, because it’s boring, repetitive, and not even real a-life. It’s been 11 years since Creatures was released, and the only thing that has come close to being as good an a-life simulation is the Sims, which lacked the capacity for learning and other important stuff. It’s ridiculous. We’ve got technology that can put a million bumps on a rock, but can’t simulate a dog’s life to a single degree of complexity.

Surely a game where life develops due to an unseen hand advocates Intelligent Design theory, rather than creationism or evolutionism?

Some people are none too bright. Or are having a joke.

I have always found it amusing that folks do not read labels before buying, then act like they got ripped off afterwards.
Parents do not bother fully checking out games or movies any more than they check out the labels on the food they buy for hyper Johnny and Jane. Feed the kids chemical then turn them loose on the computer,“Doctor, Why did my kid behave so badly?”

I think they may have to raise the average score on IQ tests Make 120 the new bar for average intelligence. Anyone below that, is gonna need help.
