Starting A New Religion.

Kmac–I think I know what you mean but, the second half of your sentence is impossible.

I understand. Perhaps I should have qualified it to refer to the religious aspect of life. I see many people “choose” a religion because they like it, or it fits them. I would choose a religion if I believed it to be true. I can’t “decide” to be a particular religion for any other reason. As I don’t believe in any type of supernatural forces guiding our destiny or lives I can’t have a religion. Even further, if God himself appeared before me and said “Kmac, I am God and I am here and I am real” then did a few miracles to prove it, I would wonder if this was indeed a God or an advanced life form acting like God. Maybe they are one and the same. I don’t know, and don’t know how I could really know the difference, so I don’t think I would believe in God even then. Hope that explains my thought process a bit.

Try to do both of these together…LOL

Hard to understand and I really won’t go into it but so far. I have said before in previous posts, not a religion it is a way of life. There is no separation of life and spirituality.

Not an uneducated guess just not a understanding of some peoples.

They are having fun at your expense but we all understood the question…
It’s a cruel world here at the forum and it is not for the meek and mild. I only come in here when I’m in a “wanna-be-tarred n’ feathered” kinda mood. :sunglasses:

Hilariosio-tonomy – I am dying here.

Honestly, I wasn’t aware that anyone who actually signed up for a religion was capable of a sound mind or body. No disrespect intended but, the truly spiritual don’t have to walk out of the house and join a thing.

Unless, of course, it is Walmart but that is only during Lent.
