Stopped Clock Paradox - Analysis

When you provide a solution which does not require the Lorentz transformation, then we will know that it’s not applicable. :-"

You were trying to show that the SR is incorrect. If you were going to show that Christianity was wrong, you’d have to actually talk about the Bible.

If you are really saying that SR doesn’t use the Lorentz transformations, then you are just showing that you are a complete idiot.

It’s fine with me that you look like a complete idiot.

AMNM
All Mouth, no Math.

Actually something did occur to me that I have been wrong about. I had been thinking that the relativity of simultaneity theory was a derivative of the observational consistency of light theory. Actually that isn’t true. They are independent assertions.

And both proven wrong by this one paradox.

You haven’t proven anything, yet.

You haven’t shown a flaw, yet.

Let’s see your solution so we can determine if it’s superior to SR.

Yes, we all agree that you are all mouth, no math, because you have never done any math for this scenario except on another message board where you made many mistakes.

Once again, AMNM.

Phyllo, logic is for logical minds. Worship is for emotional/fearful minds.

Another non-answer which focuses on the alleged failings of people.

The chalkboard is yours… Demonstrate the superiority of your solution.

I haven’t gotten the impression that you actually want to know the answer.
If you really do, then agree to a “quid quo pro” process with me wherein I ask if you agree or not, step by step as we go through the logic. If you decide to change your mind, then we start over. If you disagree with a statement that I make, another line of questioning begins concerning that disagreement. Eventually the whole issue gets resolved… but only if you really want to know.

So what say you?
A) Agree
B) Disagree
C) Other?

{{PB doesn’t qualify}}

C) Other
I am interested in knowing the answer. However, I have a limited amount of time left on this planet and I do not wish to spend it being jerked around.

You have followed the question and answer route for several years and have achieved very little. If that is the only way that you are able to communicate, then it is not effective. I suspect that you are not actually interested in presenting a solution to a problem you have found…I suspect that you are only seeking to hold on to an audience.

There is no reason why you should not present your solution and answer questions later.

Typical bullshit effort to defer blame.
But you made the decision.

kids love to just sit back and harass others, fearing commitment.

I say that I have an interest in the science and ask you to show it and I get another reply focusing on my ‘failings’ as a poster/thinker/philosopher/scientist/human.

A scientist presents his/her work to the audience in a lecture theater. That work is then analyzed by his/her peers.

No. You said that you want for me to make a commitment to you for your benefit while you stay back committed to nothing.
And then you make remarks concerning MY character.

A lecture theater isn’t filled with a bunch of irreverent kids, else the kind of lecture they get isn’t the kind they like.

Another non-answer.

So you would present your ‘findings’ to a lecture theater full of scientists?

In a heart beat if I thought they were sincere.
But unlike online, they would be mature in their responses.

…or actually in merely a college theater of real students.

Then why do you keep starting these threads online, if everyone is so immature?

If you think that both I and this thread are fakes (for which ever reason) why do you keep posting on it?

Awareness is a very significant part of life and living.

If you owned a small forested area and discovered that it had become overgrown and corrupted to the point of probably dying out entirely, wouldn’t you be inspired to investigate it a little? And wouldn’t a part of that investigation be to go into that forest, examine very closely, and perhaps probe a bit? And even if you were pretty certain of what to do about it, wouldn’t you be bright enough to ensure that what you were thinking isn’t going to actually cause even more damage in the long run?

The vegetation in the forest has a great deal to teach and inform even the brightest human.

…or would you just be there to try to impress the trees and gain a following?

Yeah you would cause a lot of damage if you gave a straight answer. LOL

Yeah, so would you.
