Majority of people here are non-thinking, everything revolves around work, ambition, profit, and money. Intellectualism in this nation is essentially dead only pursued privately as a hobby which even there few even do anymore. If fact, if you think too much about the world around you basically you’re deemed socially weird or strange.

Even the smartest more intelligent members of society here focus all their mental energies on occupational careerism where outside of work they pursue no intellectual activities, smart enough in mathematics to pass college exams, but beyond that incapable of any in depth mental exploration of the world around them.
