the babble between something and something else.

Something and Nothing.

A thought has been extended that something can not be made from nothing. Was wondering if it’s reciprocal could be extended as well, that nothing can not be made from something. That is to say that any change to something can only result in something else. The conservation of matter and energy as proposed.

Looking at a table with two things on it we can ask, what is between them? Nothing? But looking closer we see the space between them is filled with molecules of matter. We look closer and look between the molecules and find atoms, we look closer and find sub atomic particles, and between them? Strings? And between the strings? Nothing? Likely the space between is something too. Keep zooming closer into the fabric and at the extreme we find a substance that is without distinction, as there is no space where we can find an in-between. This stuff “is” and all it can be changed into “is” something else. When not looking closely enough, it can look “like” nothing but is actually something that can be any-thing. In one configuration it is something looking like nothing, and in another configuration it is something else. This stuff, can be any-thing but it can only be a thing at a time.

I saw a demonstration, a teacher standing at a podium places a glass on the stand and to it adds a bunch of stones until no more will fit, and asks is the glass full? All the students agree the glass is full, to which the teacher takes out a bag of sand and begins to fill in the space between the stones until no more sand will fit and again asks is the glass full? To which the students now skeptical of a trick answer less certainly that the glass is full. The teacher takes out a pitcher of water and fills the space between the grains of sand until no more water will fit in the glass and asks is it full now? The teacher then empties the contents from the glass and asks is the glass full? One student answers, the glass is never empty, you are simply displacing what it contains with something else.

Perhaps this thing called universe of multi-verse is not so spacious at all, never was, it is always filled with something, something that can appear a lot like nothing when you aren’t really looking.

“_” is this stuff and from this stuff a god is made, and of this stuff a notion of good is made, and of this stuff atheism is made, even the agnostic is made of this stuff. And of this stuff we are made and of this stuff all things are made, possible things and impossible things. This stuff, can be any-thing but it can only be a thing at a time. Time simply a ‘wave’ of this stuff turning into other stuff. This photon here turning into context while the context there turns in to photon. Nothing moves, time merely applying an appearance of motion. You literally aren’t the same stuff you were a moment ago, rather like persistence in vision which allows for the illusion of the appearance of motion when all you are seeing is a sequence of flashing still images. A persistence of consciousness is created of the stuff too.
